Cool Does anyone have success getting insurance company cov. for Axiron?

I am halfway through my free bottle of Axiron and at 72 I am now into sex again. Wow... But on Medicare D RX and it looks like I cannot use the $25 card. Suggestions, experience?

Many of the companies offer discount coupons and assistance plans as well. Google is your friend with this endeavor. Also check the actual company website for assistance programs.

I think the $25 dollar card does not require insurance. Read it again. I had one and it stated $25 with or without insurance. If it says that, just use it without insurance. Ask the doctor to give you another. Most will.

They changed the card for 2013 while it does not require insurance it is no longer a $25.00 co pay, without insurance, I think my cost with card was over $400.00 per month, of course I said no to that and went with a lower cost option.

I understand. This is one of the two reasons I asked to switch to shots. Because of the amount I was on, without insurance, it would be around $880 monthly. I rather like Testim better than Axiron - but that's a personal thing. Grantslaw, Testim has (or had) a similar program. Maybe you can find a doctor that will prescribe that? I think it was for a year too.

I can get testim with the coupon for $10.00 per month, but that is with insurance. The best price is still injections.

I would ask your doctor if they know about stuff like this.

otherwise, I would just move on to a new product because axiron isn't the only player in town. if you had to go out of pocket, then injections would probably be cheaper than even the money-saving cards.
