    shutdown/suppressed after 12 months

    Hey guys
12 months ago I ran a test e 400mg pw and tren a 200mg pw cycle. Only thing I used for pct was nolva 40/20/20. Yeh stupid right. Anyway, since then I have had trouble with erections/puffy nipples (no discharge from nipples). Went to 3 endos and all 3 had very little experince with aas and said just wait 3-6 months to recover. 11 months later I feel like 5% better but still have ed and puffy nips and starting to get pretty depressed. I had bloods done last week:
    Test 16.1 nmol/L (8.0-30.0)
    Free test 283 pmol/L (170-500)
    SHBG 43 nmol/L (17-66)
    FSH 4 IU/L (1-8)
    LH 5 IU/L (2-8)
    Prolactin 5.8 ug/L (<20.0)
    E2 150 pmol/L (<150)

Everything seems to be ok maybe exept e2 could be lower??
Also im not quite sure but if my LH and FSH are normal that means my hpta is not shutdown?
Some help would really be appreciated, really down in the dumps.

How old are you? You should never tell your doc about AAS use.

E2 is probably what's causing you problems....I'd lower it until the puffy nips went away and erections got good.

What kind of e2 test was this? 150 pmol/L =40.8pg/mL: Not really that far out of range. You are not shut down not optimum either. You really need more blood work done. Did you have any baseline bloodwork? See if you can get blood work done from this thread.http://forums.steroid.com/hormone-re...physician.html

did you ever have erection problems before?

after 12 months of short term abuse I would expect the recovery to be complete.

how long were you on the high dose anabolics?

as far as the nipples being puffy, that's not necessarily something that goes away. many times it is permanent unless early intervention is taken. but it doesn't necessarily say anything about your current state of hormones (unless it is growing actual breast tissue and not just bodyfat).

I agree with the guys, E2 can come down a bit and maybe SHBG too, bringing both down can raise your testosterone significantly. take 10,000 iu vitamin D ed to help bring down your SHBG, maybe two weeks adex at low doses to Bering your e2 down. and that should be enough to at least balance these two, but stay on vitamin D. of course tell your doc about these possible treatments, don't do it on your own unless you know what you're doing.

Im from Australia and thats the test they use.
I thought I would be good by now too. Ive done 2 test only cycles before this one ( both 400mg) for 8 weeks. And this one was 10 weeks and tren for the first 6 weeks. Definitely never erection problems before this cycle.
Yeh I might find s trt physician. Yeh I will try vitality d snd arimidex . Is there a rebound effect with the adex though? Like will I have to stay on it forever?

you don't have to stay on anything forever.... there would likely be a redbound effect from AI use but how bad would that be? I don't know, but your doctor should have you taper off to minimize that effect. the bigger thing though is... why would you go on just an AI? I don't know why you would.

overall, get health in order though. if anything, the most extreme option I would consider personally would be a low dose clomid stimulation test.

All the doctors I have been to really have no idea what theyre doing. They only have experience with women. Looks like I will most likely be self medicating. Cant just do AI only? What would you recommend?

You really need more labs to rule out other causes your numbers are not great but also not that bad. You have no baseline blood work to compare. I posted that link for you to know what blood work you needed even if you cant find a good doc that should give more of a indication as to whats going on with you.
