    Dr. Number 5

Talked to a doctor today about seeing him for low t.
He commented to me that he does not draw blood for test levels. That the test binds too quickly for blood to be a good indicator. He uses a 24 hour urine test combined with a 24 hour HGH test. That along with a 23 page survey helps him diagnose problems.

Anyone heard this before? Does it make sense to anyone?
Is he a quack? I found him on A4M

The only issue is he does not accept insurance. I could bill my insurance but he will not.

Finally he stated for the majority of his patients he prescribes Chlomid, very rarely does he prescribe test. Either way is OK with me as long as it works.

    Thoughts?

oh a doctor who doesn't take insurance and uses urine hormones only...

HUGE red flags for a profit-centric doctor at the cost of the patient.

there is AMPLE validity to support using blood hormone panels... and insurance would likely cover it before urine tests.

I'm not saying he is a quack, but if he is flat out wrong on the blood testosterone test's validity, then I would be skeptical about everything he did. if I had any options whatsoever, I would move on.

I do agree that a trial of clomid is a great idea before jumping into trt. I wish I had done this.

Check out LowTestosterone.com. I signed up with them a couple months ago and it has been great soo far. Their customer service is excellent and they lined me up with a great dr.

I have never been a fan of being my own doctor. This guy seemed legit... was prominent on A4M
I am very close to just finding some chlomid and doing it on my own. This is so very depressing....
I am at the point of even moderate relief of my symptoms would be out freaking standing.....

frankly, if this doctor took your insurance and it would only "waste" one appointment it might be worth it to see if he can start you on clomid therapy.

by going on clomid you really avoid a lot of the potential problems with TRT. it's far from a cure-all, but it might be good enough until you find a good doctor you can afford.

I know exactly where you've been, and I would have seen a "decent" doctor and continued m search for a "good" doctor.

Why not just a normal PCT like nolva 40/40/20/20
    Clomid 100/50/50/50
With a blast of HCG 2000ui first day.

    And go from there???

    Ar-r carry nolva/clomid.
Its fast and umexpensive to try,

I see you are just talking of clomid, but as far as I know both together are greatly synergist...

Only saying, im not a pro

Is this actually Clomid? Real Clomid and not an alternative?

It's not pharm grade, if that's what your asking. Just like their liquid CIA isn't pharm grade, but it still works.
