Small doses of anastrozol crashes estrogen

Been on TRT for 3 years now and do monthly labs. I typically run slightly high on estrogen without an AI and feel good and every time I take even a small .25 of anastrozol it crashes I feel terrible. Past several months I have been taking 1 pill of DIM a day and labs have come back with estrogen slightly lower in the high end of normal range. Seems to be working,

I have the opposite experience. I have been slowly upping my Anastrozole after each blood test. I'm now doing 3.5mg per week to try and bring down my E. On 0.5mg and 1mg/week my E just rocketed up to 125.

same here, I feel much better without AI, my E2 is about 43 scale of 3-70, when its in the teens I get all kinds of muscle aches, joint pain, bone pain, etc...

What makes us tired when taking an AI, low on the the scale or high? I only take .25 twice a week of arimidex the day after injections and I can't get out of bed the day after. Yawn!

Sometimes it's just the arimidex that guys have trouble with....could try aromasin .

I tried aromasin once and felt like crap afterwards. Everything hurt, especially my joints. That was after taking half of a pill EOD for five days - MWF.

Sure you weren't taking Arimidex and crashed your E2...that's just what it sounds like.
Aromasin isn't suppose to crash a guy's E2, that's one of the things I like about it.

Or maybe you got Arimidex by mistake?

Was the DIM to help control estrogen, and is this its typical use? My doc recommended a product called EstroDIM as an alternative to adex but I can't find much about it.

No, it was Aromasin. Pills are definitely different (Aromasin is larger) as I had both at the same time. I was taking half a pill at the time. I see that it has a 85% kill rate for E2 and is better because it deals more with E2 whereas Arimidex deals more with E1. I have seen some say Arimidex has no effect on them or causes E2 rebounding. I'm not knocking it, it seems to do the job, I know that. My E2 was down to 9 after that bout with Aromasin.

I have to take 2.5 MG per week to keep my E2 in check. I do get some joint pain periodically.

One more thing, it was while I was trying to restart with clomid. Not sure that means anything or not. I still have some and will pick up a few more boxes when I go to India. And these are the brand name meds from a reputable licensed pharmacy. One thing I will tell you about India, their drug making/selling laws are brutal. Get caught making or selling a drug that gets people sick, even big pharmacies, even under the jail isn't deep enough for you.

I don't know how much is recommended since it's such an individual thing.

I have capsules that I've been splitting, usually take 4 or 6mg every day.

I've heard they have the death penalty for counterfeiting meds in India, didn't know if it was the truth.

OK, I'll check my dosage. And yes, penalty is death if it is a home cooked drug. Pharmaceutical companies that make a contaminated drug are shutdown and the top bigwigs are immediately put on trial. Drugs are the big money maker (as in taxes) for India, so they don't screw around with that.

50mg of Zinc and 2-3 mg of copper works as a good OTC Anti E. Would I use it on my patients alone. NO. Anastrozole still is the gold standard but to lower my use of Anastrozole its works very well. You can usually cut your dose of anastrozole in half with proper dosage of Zinc and copper. Some compounding pharmacies are even adding Zinc to their bottles of Testosterone .

Lost mike you are awesome. I always enjoy reading what you write. I been using exesta.a e every other day. I noticed my bloatedness was knocked right out of the park and my erections were insane, for me of course.
