hGH Sticky
Just curious since part of the title of this Topic is Anti-Aging, why is there not more on hGH? Or is it not considered part of anti-aging for the purposes of this topic? Maybe because there no benefits to using it or due to availability or maybe cost? Just curious, as there is a lot of knowledgeable people on this site. I did a search for HGH and got nothing. Don't know why as I see a few posts on it? I apologize if this is beating a dead horse as I am not looking to start a flame war.

HGH is really fringe medicine right now when looking at it from the anti-aging perspective. FDA has cracked down on it. Outside of 2-3 diseases you can't get a legitimate prescription. In short, maybe a couple guys use it total on this forum...
Its contribution to overall wellness and health is also probably far, far, far less than things like nutrition, lifestyle and even testosterone and estradiol. Meanwhile its cost and obstacles to access are relatively huge.Last edited by HRTstudent; 06-25-2013 at 01:56 PM.

There are plenty of HGH users (like me) to be found in the HGH forum, but I agree - HGH talk should be allowed here if used in an anti-ageing capacity (as I do).

I am guessing the only way to get hGH is to see one of the anti-aging or longevity clinics. What is considered a normal range for igf-1 before this would be considered by a doc?

The aspect of HGH that I enjoyed and wanted to take a closer look at (however my uro and endo both ignored this request) is how HGH is associated with low cortisol levels and "adrenal fatigue"..
