reducing bodyfat lowers estrogen?

im not on an AI right now, i would like to avoid taking one. my last blood test my total test was 1478ng/dl range 348-1197, free test was 38 range 9.6-24.6, estradiol 78.8 range 7-46.6. blood test was done 2 days after injection. at the time of the blood test i was on 140mg test and 500 iu hcg per week. since then ive lowered my testosterone to 120mg, injecting 60mg mon and thursday. i know the estradiol test is not the right one but i do have high estradiol because i have symptoms, bloated face, little bit emotional, tired. sex drive is still good though. i did not have these symptoms a couple of weeks ago they seem to be starting recently. so my question is if i lose fat will that lower my estradiol a significant amount? right now im 12-15% bodyfat. maybe i should lower my testosterone to 100mg per week?

The quickest way to get your estrogen down is to lower your dose. Body fat plays a role in some but not all and I doubt it would make that big if a difference for you. Did you inject 70mg two days before your test or 140mg? If 70mg drop dose to 35mg twice a week.

Any reason you tested you blood 48hr after injection? That is right about peak for test c. So you ng/dl is going up 10X your mg at peak. So 70 to 80 mg a week will most likely put you on target.

The relationship to high body fat and excess estrogen is this. The aromatase enzyme responsible for converting T into E lives in adipose tissue (fat). The fatter you are the more aromatase you will have generally and excess estrogen. I didnt see that you are taking any anti estrogens in your above protocol. Very important to keep E2 between 20-30 pg/ml. too much. low libedo. E2 falls to 0 if overdosing with AI its bad for vessels surrounding heart and brain makes you more prone for CAD, alztimers, dementia, parkinsons, (these are support by NEJM articles). Ask you doctor about Rx anastrozole and a good OTC anti E would be 50mg of zinc and 3-4mg of copper. IT actually works. Would I use Zinc and copper soley as an AI...NO. But I can cut a patients use of AI in half with proper zinc and copper supp. My 2 cents.

at the time i thought it was best to test when the testosterone was at its peak. since then others have told me i should do the blood test the day before my injection.

It is best to test T levels at there peak. 2-3 days after injection. and be consistant throughout TRT when doing labs. same timing same time of day

i want to do trt without an AI. i think if you have the right dosage of testosterone you shouldn't need and AI. im trying to think long term. staying on testosterone for the rest of my life is not a problem but staying on arimidex for the rest of my life doesn't seem healthy to me. arimidex hasn't been around that long. nobody knows what happens to the body if you stay on it for twenty years. thanks for the advice on the zinc and copper, i will try it.

80mg per week seems low. i never heard anyone using 80mg per week.

Many of us have low T and high E before taking anything. I need an AI even without taking any T supplements (my base Estradiol was 41).

I started with 75mg per week but my T went too high so I backed off to 50mg. Still in the process of titration.

There are plenty of guys taking 60mg and getting over 800

I was just reading this from FRDave
(I inject 40mg via sub-Q every Tues & Sat for a total of 80mg per week and was sitting at 878 ng/dL on my last set of labs.)

if X dosage gets you to a peak of 1000ng/dl, what blood level could you expect if you split X into two separate dosages during the week?
