After almost passing out the first time I gave myself an injection I have come up with an easy and painless way.
Find a place to sit.
Place an ice pack on injection site for about 2 minutes.
Remove ice pack and wipe area with alchohol.
Slowly inject yourself as normal.
Then get into a hot shower and massage your thigh.
SQ, 2 minutes, done.
Sounds like you just need to get your mind in the right place. Quads are simple, if you push pin in slow its gonna hurt. Put it in fast, inject slow. No need for all that other stuff, but if that's how you need to get it done then its cool. I think you psyching yourself out before you ever start.Quote:

I tried sitting and it was harder to do for me. Stand, put all your weight on the the non injection leg, slap your injection leg to make sure it is loose and throw the dart in and inject slowly. Taking twenty steps prior to throwing the dart seems silly. Like Kel said, if you need to do this, find another area to dart.
