    Arimidex timing question

I have added .5mg of Arimidex 24hrs after my test injections, Wed night & Sun morning, dropping my E2 from 75 to 45 (30 points in total).

With the above in mind, I am going to add an additional .5mg of Arimidex for a total of 1.5mg per week with the assumption this will drop me to the upper 20, lower 30 E2 range.

Should I add .25mg for a total of .75mg on Wed & Sun or should I take .5mg on Mon/Wed/Fri along with my HCG injections?

Current protocol is 40mg of test on Tues night & Sat morning / 250iu HCG on Mon, Wed & Fri / .5mg Arimidex on Wed night & Sun morning.

    Thanks in advance

Your E2 went from 75 to 45 in how long on that dose? I ask as before you elevate your adex dosage you may consider giving it more time to see if it continues to drop. AI's can be tricky and I'd hate to see you over do it. How are you feeling and app what is your current BF%?

Labs were done about 7 weeks after I started the Arimidex ... 53 days to be exact. Think I should give it some more time?

I feel fine, then again, I felt fine at 75... Only noticable side effects are bloat and my sex drive is not quite there. No issues, but not ideal. I also find myself more easily irrated than normal.

As for body fat, I am currently about 19% (all in chest, love handles and lower back). I am cutting as we speak, hoping to get this down, but have not been under 15% in a good 10+ years unfortunately. Seems near impossible to loose the fat vs when I was 25, and I now count calories and watch macros.

If any other questions, just let me know. Thanks again!

That's a sufficient amount of time, IMHO. I would not up it more than .25 on top of what you are already taking.

What do you think is the best/ideal Arimidex timing in regards to my current protocol:

Test - 40mg on Tues night & Sat morning
HCG - 250iu on Mon, Wed and Fri nights

Should I just stick to the current 24hrs after my test injection and just do .75mg one day and .5mg the other day? Or say .5mg Mon, .25mg Wed and .5mg Fri? Does it even matter?

    Thanks again

Dont overlook timing of your labs as well. More aromatase at 36-48 hours post inject. Be patient. if you have only been on TRT for 7 weeks your rate of aromatase will usually go down after time...So stay consistant with labs. As body fat lowers so does rate of aromatase. Shoot for 20-30pg/ml E2. I concur with kelkel above. However, talk to your doctor if you are going to up your dose. Also 50mg of Zinc and 2-3mg of Copper ED is a great way to lower your use of anastrozole. I wouldn't use it as a sole AI but in conjunction with Anastrozole. Generally in some men you can cut Anastrzole dose in half with use of zinc and copper combo. I have a compounding pharmacist that adds Zinc in the Testosterone Cypionate vials. It works well.

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for the reply. I have actually been on TRT since Dec 2012, still trying to get dialed in. The 7 weeks I mentioned has been how long I have been on Arimidex . Prior to Arimidex, I was sitting with a total test of 878 and E2 of 75.1. Protocol was the same as now, just using no Arimidex.

Now with the .5mg of Arimidex 24hrs after test injection for the past 7 weeks, everything else being the same, my test levels have risen to 991 and E2 has dropped 30 points down to 45.

All labs I do fasting, the morning of my test injection but before my injection (~72hrs post injection). Being that I take HCG on Mon, Wed and Fri nights and my test injections on Sat morning and Tues night, no matter when I get blood work (Tues or Sat morning), I would have injected HCG the night prior. Could this scew my results?

On another note, I have been taking 50mg of Zinc with 2mg of copper daily for a good 3 months now. I even tried up to 150mg of zinc with 6mg of copper prior to getting on Arimidex and noticed no drop in E2 levels.

Hope this helps better clarify and thanks again.
