Are my doses correct?

I am on a TRT regimen of 100mgs a week , and have been doing so for quite a while. My question is am I taking more than what I should be? I use a larger needle to draw 1/2 cc on my syringe. Then I pull plunger down and the test that was in the needle now makes test in syringe more like 120-130 Mgs . Is this correct or should test in plunger only show 1/2 cc do you account for product in needle? Thanks in advance

Unless placing an air bubble behind the test, that amount is lost in the dead space of the needle once injected, so you got 100mg and 20-30mg wasted. I would get a syringe with an attached needle labeled as little to 0 dead space as it seems you are wasting quite a bit.

If injecting with an air bubble behind test to get everything, then you would indeed be injecting the full 120-130mg, which may or may not be ideal. Have to base your dosage on blood work.

I use 26g syringes with an attached needle labeled as 0 dead space :-) Hard to find but they work perfect and I purchase in bulk.

I get from quick medical . com for $3.11 per tray (25 syringes per tray). Only downfall is that they are not individually wrapped so I place them in a zip lock once opened.
