    Where is best for SubQ... not the belly I understand...

    Hi gents,

    Is there any consensus on where the best areas are for Subcutaneous testosterone injection?

    I remember a thread a while ago which indicated that area at the front of the belly is not the best place because there is quite a low amount of capillary/vascular system there.

    I can pinch up some skin on my quad... I'm pretty low bodyfat so even if I go in with a .5inch slinpin, I think it will go into muscle if I don't pinch the skin up... Any other ideas? There area around the obliques I imagine would sting quite a bit...

    Nothing wrong with the stomach. Just stay a couple inches away from the navel. Easy.

    Yea, I hear glutes here a lot, but I honestly I have NO fat on my glutes. Going up my glutes the first place I'm finding fat is in my upper hips and love handles, but not much.

    I do thighs and belly. the reason I answered glutes because most of us even if lean have plenty if fat there. and you can go in straight or angle.

    Glutes work best for me. I pinch a good 2" of skin, stick, release and inject. The glutes should have the most amount of fat for the majority of us. Love handles would be my second choice but I use this location for HCG .

    i was injecting my hcg in the thigh and sometimes in the stomach. stomach is the least painful, although it doesnt hurt in thigh. im prety sure you can do thigh, glutes, and stomach for trt, but a lot of people say stomach isnt as effective. glutes are the ass right? just stick it in the ass?

    okay Dave, how in the heck do you do that?! unless you're related to Elastica I don't see how you can twist and reach using both hands. I can hardly reach with one hand LOL!

    Thanks dudes, gonna switch SubQ and will go glutes and maybe thigh with a skin pinch. Was a bit wary of pinching the skin after watching the Crisler videos where he advised not to do that... but I want to make sure that it is actually going SubQ and IM for the sake of a fair comparison.

    Left side is hardest since I am right handed... I pinch skin fold with left hand, reach around with right to stick, I then release skin fold and swap hands, now holding syringe with my left hand. Then I just slowly inject using the one hand. Easiest to do while sitting down on a hard surface.

    It was a little difficult at first but after a couple times your good to go. And I am far from limber as I can't even touch my toes lol.

    I tried a few times without pinching skin like Crisler advised, but did not like this method and is kinda sketchy if lean.

    IMO I believe Crisler went into the muscle and that's why he bleed so much. at his BF% stabbing himself like that I don't see how that didn't go through the skin and right into the muscle!

    I go an inch or two away from the belly button. I go straight in with no pinching. I used to do the love handle area and used a pinching method. About every 4th or 5th time I would bruise and/or get sore spot/tender spot. I have been going straight into the front navel area for months now and not one hot spot/sore spot/red spot/bruise to date. Not once. And 9 times out of 10 I literally do not feel a thing. Only if right on a nerve do I notice it. I inject twice a week and just alternate sides. Couldn't be easier.

    I alternate between abdomen (keep 2" away from belly button and you'll be fine), inner thighs (keeping a few inches from either end of the thigh) and glutes.
