    HCG on TRT?

I have been reading a lot of info on TRT. Got some good stuff so far, as far as what levels to look for.

But, I see a bit of mixed info on HCG . I have somewhat of a understanding why we should use it on cycle(to mimic natural test production & for a quicker recovery).

Yet, why would you be on it forever alongside your test & possible Ai?

So far the only info I have seen on it states it is to keep your bawls from completely disappearing. And the other is to stabilize your testosterone levels .

I also have read that HCG can cause negative effects fro prolonged use and should be cycled.

Any other real info on this would be great. Thanks yall

Interesting... I've been curious to know if it should be cycled, too.

My dr. Put me in it because I told him I wanted to have kids still (wifey and I are trying). Basically it tells your Gonads to make sperm and you get a little testosterone boost too. I'm younger (34) and am on very low dose right now (80mg/week) and the hcg keeps me in the 800's on my labs.

Nice arms, Samson. I've looked for studies on this, but never had any luck. I use it, and willl continue to use it for the reasons you stated-after several months of trt, things really did shrink and ache. To hell with that
I'm 51, so don't care about fertility, but watching them shrink was too much to bear.
I bet lowTmike can give you an answer.

I've read some of your other posts. Are you considering trt due to some issues?

Edit: you don't need to answer that question if it's personal.

I'll answer, we'll all done and grown up on here.

I just don't feel my age at times. Nothing too bad but, I don't get wood as much as I once did, or even close.

So I looked back to my levels I had pulled post my 2nd cycle and they were not what I remembered. I compared my #'s to the info I had online and I compare to a 65 year old.

    That's not cool

Now, I'm coming off a long ass cycle. In a few weeks I want to get solid blood work since the blood work I'm looking back at is over a year old.

So, I'm starting to research this quite a bit. Not just for the fun of permanent juicing but better well being too.

I ran a low dose in between cycles for a while @ under 200mg a week and felt real solid without any issues that I noticed.

Definitely worth it if there are no other options. I had a level of an 80 yr old. Hey, you can always blast and cruise. Maybe you won't even need hcg . But the vets will tell you it does a lot more than keep the boys happy.

I just don't want to cut my life span by doing dumb shit. I understand TRT is an option, but we need to know when it's worth using that option.

It's not just one shot a month and that's it. There is quite a bit more.

with all due respect, are you really questioning the safety of dr prescribed trt when you are doing ''cycles''?

As you know, when you're young, the decision to do or don't do lifelong trt is a difficult and complex one. I was old, so it was a no-brainer.

someone gave me reputation? that's a first lol.
yes rusty, i agree, however im just surprised he had no problem cycling and has a concern over trt. trt SHOULD be safe in physiologic ranges, hcg honestly idk.

This brings up another question, why dont they make bioidentical lh?

HCG can used for many reasons. To restart your HPTA--HCG is cycled. To come off T only therapy--HCG is cycled. HCG primarily is used (long term-not cycled) during T treatment to keep endogenous serum T and spermogenisis going. Nothing wrong with HCG longterm . Its a polypeptide molecule that is naturally made in the body already.
