How much testosterone cypionate does your HRT prescribe?

It seems the average is between 100 mg EW is normal? How tightly does your doc monitor your prescription? Could you get more each week if you wanted?

Edit: I'm adding this after starting HRT and realizing what a big impact its had on me. I've come to realize what a stupid question this is. Don't **** with your HRT. If you find a doc who's willing to work with you and listen to you become his best friend don't try to turn him into a source.

Well if you run out early, they'll likely have questions... Doctors know when you're messing around and they won't risk their license.

Well you shouldn't mess around, we are about long term health.
We don't take HRT to get swoll ,we take it to feel healthy and to have a good sense of well being.
We take it to feel like youthful men in our primes regardless of age.
We take it to get rid of anxiety, low libido, lethargy, brain fog, sleep issues, and the list goes on and on.
Most of us pre-HRT felt like crap and were living through hell on the daily.
For me the muscle benefits are the last on the list and if all you're thinking about is getting the highest dose you can, you should check your priorities. If you want to do "blasts" like some guys on here do that's fine, just make sure you get yourself dialed in first and find out a healthy HRT protocol for the long term.
Why are you on HRT in the first place, didn't recover from a cycle?
Having said that it's pretty easy to get a higher dosage if you know how to skew blood work.

Thanks for your words of caution Jomamma. Have never cycled. I had some lab work done and my numbers came back low, I'm currently working with an endo to find out why.

I'm sure lots of people on these forums are interested in both their long term health and getting swoll. I'm excited that HRT may fix many of the symptoms you've described. I'm also looking forward to pushing hard in the gym and actually seeing results. If that requires me to cycle in a higher dose after I get dialed in then that's an option that I'm willing to consider.

More is not always better. When I first started TRT I was shooting 300mg per week and wanted more. After the next blood test my DR dropped me to 200mg and I feel much better and my labs are within reason. As long as you eat right and train right you will be very happy with your results and you will feel younger and more confident every single day.

We are all different, I may need 100mg every week to have good quality of life but you may need only 50mg maybe 200mg per week. The only way to know is to pay attention to how you feel on a daily basis & per BW.

My Dr doesn't monitor my prescription "tightly" BUT, if I use more than I am prescribed I will run out early & not be able to refill my Rx until I am supposed to. I will not put myself in this position so I do not use more than I am prescribed. The PT & the Dr have a trust between each other to do what is correct. If I break this trust I will be searching for another Dr because this one will not prescribe me anything anymore.

Could I get more if I wanted? Yes, if my signs/symptoms do not improve & BW indicates that I need a higher dose then my Dr will write a new script with the different amount.
