    30 yr old trt therapy

Hey, i am 30 yr old and recently had blood work drawn and my T and free T was low. I had been on benzos for about 3 years daily. Two weeks before my lab i had stopped all benzos. My thyroid and everything was good except my blood sugar was borderline. My sexual function is okay. The doc put me on axiron but i cant afford it. Do you guys have any suggestions, diet, supplements, or should i try to see an endocrinologist since i am only 30 yrs of age? I did start taking 150mg of magnesium and 50 mg of zinc at night. Family dollar brand vitamin. Any help would be nice. I just cant understand why it was low unless the benzos killed it. Thanks

When you say your levels are low, how low are we talkin?

Benzos could very well be your cause. Opiates/Benzos/Anti-depressants can all wreak havoc on your hpta.

I was 36 years old when I went on TRT, no SSRI meds or anything. My doc claims that I'd be surprised how more and more of the TRT patients are late 20s/early 30s.

scaled from 348-1000 mine was 328. The other which was the "free" i think was low as well or maybe i have them backwards. I don't remember that number though. I stopped my free axiron trial because I am scared of the risks and affordability. I am going to try to eat more bananas, cauliflower, broccoli, and take ZMA at night as well as start a regular cardio plus weight lifting routine. I have also started drinking a protein shake in small amounts that contains fenugreek and tribulus t. I hope this can boost it back up so i can stay off therapy. What do you think this routine will do? Thanks

Well, on the diet thing boosting levels...I don't think it'll help you much if any. I think a good diet & the right supplementation can help maintain good levels but not really raise them.

For the last year I've had a really good diet...4 months ago was tested, total was 330, free 10! Did everything to improve naturally...wasn't much room for improvement on my diet but there's always room for a little, so my diet was great & I got some levels in good range with these supps (magnesium, zinc, vitamin C, desi liver ect.).

Tested again a month ago...total T went down to 247, Free 10, lol! So as far as numbers it got worse!

This is just my experience...I tried the natural thing aswell & didn't do anything for me! Maybe someone with more knowledge can give you reasoning & facts!
