labs with axiron

I was taking low dose injections 20mg a week.. my total test was 220 and free test was up to 32. but my HCT kept raising.. so dr and i decided to try axiron ..
at 2 weeks i did some blood work.. i tested 3 hours after application of 60mg axiron. total test came out at 535 but free test was only 10.

this seems strange to me... will the free test come up the longer i am on axiron? except the axiron kinda upsets my stomach so not sure how long i can handle it.

My free T never did raise much while using Axiron. I used it for 3-4 months at the max dose. Axiron is junk priced along side with gold.

did you total t raise? my total test is much higher with the axrion..but free in the tank..
i got 30day free trail so now gold out of pocket

Ya total t went to like 600 but my free t was abysmal. What's normal levels for a lady? Exestamane brought my free t really high.

Also on a side note, I have read that high total T with low free t sucks just as bad

i got 30day free trail so now gold out of pocket

My total T did raise some, around 550 or so. My body never would absorb enough of the liquid gold Axiron to be effective.

why not just go back to injections and donate blood on a regular basis to bring down your hematocrit? most of us on TRT do it and it works great.

gels scare me. transfer, hair loss chances increase, low total t......injections are easier.

i have been thinking about that.. i have to say i am paranoid about the giant needles they us in my veins.. my veins arent that big and i only have one arm they can get to without digging deep.. i dont know how long they will last if i have to go in every 2 months? am i being over paranoid? not sure how to get over this concern?

I think you may be over thinking the blood donation. The personnel at the blood donation facilities start lines on multiple people per day, they know how to hit veins without making your arm look like a heroin addict. Having a 18G IV catheter inserted every couple of months is nothing in the grand scheme of things. Don't sweat it. Donating blood every couple of months is good for you & for the recipient in need.

thanks Everertt - i do tend to "overthink" things : ( i can't donate though so i have to go to the hematologist at the cancer center- and i always feels sad and confused while i see so many sick people with cancer and then i feel "guilty" for causing this issue on myself... crazy i know. also when i was 18 i used to donate blood and do have a bit of a pit in my arm from that.. and i know that was a very long time ago.. wasnt an issue for me then .. but as i get older i get a bit more nervous and wanting to be careful with my body.. i am glad i have some place i can talk about these fears/ concerns.. hopefullly i will be able to move through it. thanks everyone

Not true. I been constantly at 900-1200 on androgel. Never got the transfer thing either. Who hugs their kids without a shirt on. Its dries in 15 min

hey drednok how much androgel do you use to get those numbers? how are your free testo? are you using the 1.62%? thanks
