Caffeine losing it's effectiveness with trt?

Every since starting trt and getting my test and estro levels up, caffeine doesn't seem to have much effect if any at all. I feel like this has to do with having a lot of anxiety with lower T and E levels. Now my hormones look great but I can drink a cup of coffee and go right back to sleep. In July I could have a cup of coffee and be wired for hours. The other day I took 270mgs of caffeine from C4 pre workout and barely felt a thing. This started happening exactly at the same time I started with injections so I don't believe it's a coincidence. I'm going to ditch the caffeine as it doesn't really have any effect anymore. Wondering if maybe it adrenal fatigue as I'm tired all the time, my dhea was low on last blood test (although cortisol was 13 at 1pm which seemed good). I wake up and have energy for about 45 minutes then I'm tired until I get a surge of energy around 5-6pm for a few hours. Started supplementing with 50mg micro dhea and preg but still feel fatigued.

With or without testosterone , caffeine will lose its effectiveness. Probably just caught up to you. I can take a couple grams of caffeine with no effects.

Lol. Most I've done in one day was 1000grams. Also was running clen at 120mcgs the same day. Oh and I had a pre workout drink. Muscle pharm assault.

Not the best thing in the world to do...

Caffeine blocks the perception of fatigue by interfering with the neurotransmitter adenosine. If your dead tired your brain is still going to receive the message that your tired through other systems unaffected by caffeine.

Alternately if you have been using a lot you may have built up a tolerance as Austinite suggested. Cycle off for a week or two and see if it regains some of its effectiveness.

Your body will eventually build up a tolerance to caffeine. Stop using caffeine for a few weeks & see how your body reacts.

As for caffeine loosing its effectiveness with TRT? I seriously doubt it. For ME since making the move from topicals to Test Cyp via IM injection (much more effective for ME) I drink much less coffee in the morning due to not being drop dead tired when I get up at 05:00. I used to drink 5-6 cups of coffee every morning & it would barely get me going, now I drink 1 maybe 2 cups & I'm ready to roll. Now it's not a big deal if I don't have any coffee in the morning.

Well here's the thing, when I would take an ai or pre trt my estrogen was pretty low, I'd have to guesstimate estradiol sensitive under or around 10 based on bloods. Now because of this I already had anxiety, but when I would take a simle cup of coffee together the anxiety and caffeine could power me for half a day. Now that I don't have that anxiety from low estrogen, the caffeine doesn't do much. I upped my amount recently because of this going from on cup of coffee around 120mgs to upwards 5-600 without any effect. I woke up, drank a coffee and went back to bed. Woke up again, drank a monster and went back to bed. Then the third time waking up I drank another monster and only left my house because I had class. Last year I was taking up to a gram a day it was horrid.

I would completely cut out all caffeine for a few weeks & see how you feel. You may find that you don't need/want caffeine anymore.
