Any benefits from DHEA and Preg supp?

    Hey guys,
I hear people say that it's a good idea for us, men on hrt, to supplement with DHEA and Pregnenolone. This is because it back fills the pathways which are down regulated by the exogenous testosterone we inject, or something along those lines. Having said that I've never heard one guy taking it say he feels better, only that it raises estrogen or that he gets acne or aggeevated gyno. Has anyone here experienced any positive effects from supplementation of these hormones?

I am taking the DHEA and really don't notice much of anything. I won't be buy g it again. When it runs out I'm done.

Can't notice anything personally, good or bad, although something from the group of vitamins was causing me to have heartburn often. Doctor didn't want me to take it anyways, said I shouldn't need it until I am a bit older.

Guys. DHEA sulfate is the 2 most important androgen in male body. IT IS A HORMONE. You can actually get a DHEA sulfate blood panel. Its not just some supplement that you take and wait around to "FEEL". Guys who have LowT generally have low DHEA. Supplementing 50mg a day between 30-50 Yrs old and 100mg a day 50+ can greatly help optimize hormones. Always use blood work to find what dose is best for you.

You're not going to "feel" it, just know that it helps you. More than enough research available to show this.

Would HCG be an alternative to DHEA and pregnenolone?

HCG can raise dhea. It's just whether it's enough for you. For most it seems not to be.

I'm not on TRT personally so it's just for my personal knowledge, if I see the question pop up again. Thanks for the answer
