21 yrs old, Low t since 16.Doctors protocol Is messing me up.help (short story,)
To make a very long story as short as possible:
-Low T diagnosed at 16 (Total was 116 ng/dl and free if I remember correctly was in the 40's some where. seen and endo, he took MRI's and CAT-scans. Basically told me he seen nothing wrong and to take T shots)
-Doctor had me taking 200mg Test Cyp 2x a month.
-Low/High T and estro had fluctuated a handful of times since I have been taking them. Didn't say much cause Im not a doctor.
-Started noticing that after about 7-10 days, I would feel not shitty, but, more tired, depressed, a tad lower sex drive. Thought it was in my head. didnt say anything.
-Got blood work taken about 10 days ago. This time I got it taken on the 14th day and got my shot right after My blood work.
-They called me and said my T was low. Didnt tell me free, just total and it was 162. The lowest I have seen it since I was 16.
-Did some research and found out every 2 weeks for a shot is horrible and test can dip.
My questions are:
-How messed up can things be now that I've been doing this for 5 yrs?
-Can test really dip THAT low in 2 weeks?
-Im seeing a TRT specialist monday. How can I be sure he actually knows what hes talking about? What questions should I ask? What is in your opinion, a route I should be taking now?
Thank you.Last edited by robdez24; 10-03-2013 at 11:47 AM.

Your doctor is an idiot! Let us know what changes the HRT doc makes and how it goes.

Thank you all for the feedback. One more bump for any more info. And yes I was overweight but it was before I was diagnosed with low T and being overweight will not affect t levels like that lol.
