Young 18 year old need muscle gaining advice while on Testosterone Cypionate(USP)
Okay, I'ma make this as simple and short for you guys/gals, 14 had testosterone injections for 6 months didn't do much (Wasn't even working out or using it to its full potential plus I was consuming plenty of intoxicants(narcotics)) I obviously have some growth hormone and test level problems now 18 narcotic free completely for the first time and more motivated then ever to gain some muscle and lose this scrawny pathetic figure! And of course I want to live a healthy lifestyle as I have no other choice (Type 1 diabetic)
Back on testosterone took my first injection yesterday my endo is starting me at 1/2 a month I believe that's 30mg not sure. We are planning to move me up to 100, and soon after 200 and see how that goes. Now what I'm asking is what can I do to take the most advantage of these injections for muscle gains! I am very VERY weak and I believe it is due to my low test levels so I'm currently struggling like crazy to just keep up steady reps of 20lbs dumbells but I'm making it through I have started working out this week at home. Only having dumbells for now what do you guys suggest I can make the best of my dumbells? I have been doing the basic bicep pumps, tricep lifts and over the head back down to the ear level for the trapezoids I suppose? Although I'm struggling just with 20lbs (Obv the test injection is nowhere near kicking in) I do believe if I start training myself to lift a little more then I can (feeling the burn and all) by the time the injections kick in I can really grasp the opportunity and start some serious muscle gains. So what exercises do any of you suggest with the dumbbells? Let me know any as I do not only want to work out my arms and traps can't do that every single day.
(P.S I plan on going to the gym once my injections and test levels start to kick in as I'll be able to actually use the machines to the full potential because right now wasting money for nothing is not an option so let's try to make the best of these dumbbells for now ! )

so much is wrong with this post. 14 and t injections? have you lost your mind9 I SAY THIS IN JEST NOT TO HURT YOU)?...even 18 is young. my advice is to get off the sauce and workout naturally. everyone for the most part is weak when first starting...you can get big and strong with low t.

30mgs a week is less than a newborn baby, good luck getting buff with a 300 test level from trt. Of course we need blood work, who knows maybe that puts your levels in the 800-1000 range which you and your doc should be shooting for initiailly. There is no reason to taper up your dosage. If anything some doctors start with a double dose the first shot. Your 18 your levels should be sky high, what is your doctors reasoning for such a small dose. Are you on HCG ?
We need blood work
your hrt protocol
reason for being on hrt
have you attempted a restart

300 mg/wk is a steroid cycle. newborn babies also have higher t levels than adult males..or at worst, equal levels.
you are right that 300ng/dl t level will make getting strong and big hard, although with the right time, even with that level, you could make great gains.

Guys, the reason I'm being put on test injections again is because I have really low test up to the point I don't produce seamen and get other effects of having low test. I'm just asking these questions because I want to take advantage of this and try to get some muscle gain. This is not a steroid cycle or nothing, the main reason is a medical reason but I figured I'd work out like crazy and get some muscle gains ya know? at least I hope it'd be possible.

Eat a good clean diet with a surplus of calories (nutrition section) and find a good program to start lifting heavy weights. Heavy is a relative term. I recommend an all around strength building program like Starting Strength or Stronglifts. These are very simple workout programs for beginners but the lifts, once mastered, will stay with you forever. Squats, deadlifts, overhead presses, rows, and Bench.
Don't make lifting over complicated in the beginning. Once you reach intermediate levels you can change up your workout to put more focus on what you want. Both these programs will build whole body strength and mass.
Your diet is just as important as any workout program. If you don't eat, you won't get stronger.

I know it's not a steroid cycle but 30mgs a week is way too low a dose to start. You should start no lower then 60mgs per week, unless you have blood work proving this low a dosage puts you at a healthy range.

Why wait till it kicks in..Get your ass in the gym. Test is not a miracle cure. Hard work is the key.
