I thought it was 48-72 hours. Personally I can feel the injection on the 3rd day
Some studies I have found online:
"In a randomized cross-over study of six healthy males aged 20-29 years of age, the
pharmacokinetics of a single injection of 200 mg testosterone cypionate was compared to that of a
single injection of 194 mg testosterone enanthate. Mean serum testosterone concentrations
increased sharply to 3 times the basal levels (approximately 1350 ng/dl) at 24 hours and declined
gradually to basal levels (approximately 500 ng/dl) by day 10.
A similar observation was noted in a clinical study of replacement therapy with a single
intramuscular dose of 200 mg testosterone cypionate in 11 hypogonadal males aged 28-74.
Pharmacokinetic analysis showed a three-fold mean increase in serum testosterone concentrations
by day 2 (1108 ± 440 ng/dl) and a progressive decline to basal serum levels (360 ± 166 ng/dl) by
day 14 for the group."
IDK, I'm guessing it may vary based on the individual? I recently had BW performed on the 5th day after a 100mg Test Cyp injection and total came in @ 897 (348-1197) & free @ 21.3 (6.8-21.5). I'm thinking this reading would represent less of a decline than what's represented on that graph?
IM is always way higher for me than SQ for some reason. I've tried them both back and forth and decided to just stay with IM. It's not as convenient but my levels are almost double!
I just got my latest BW back:
Current protocol (last 2 months): Test Cyp 150mg 1x week, HCG 250iu 3x week, Anastrozole .25mg day after T injection and .25mg 3 days after T injection.
Previous Labs (9/4/13) 7 days after test injection:
Total Test = 586 (348-1197)
Estradiol = 44.3 (7.6-42.6)
New Labs (10/18/13) 43 hours after test injection:
Total Test = 729 (348-1197)
Estradiol = 16.6 (7.6-42.6)
Looks like I need to stop that 2nd dose of Anastrozole.
So according to this graph, on day 7 - I am at level 3 on the graph (586). And on day 2, I am at level 10 on the graph (729). Does this seem right?
Does a TT peak of 729 seem right for 150mg a week?
Yes this graph is an accurate representation of the general biological half-life of Test C and E. Of course some men are hyper excretors and some are hypo. Also doing a subq shot in an area with a high accumulation of fat will also slow absorption. Find an area where you pinch 1/2 inch or less. Also, dont forget if you are on HCG and comparing labs and days in trying to figure our your metabolism this is not correct. HCG will boost natural endogenous T levels and will give your serum T another peak on HCG injection day and anastrozole will boost T levels 20% by controlling conversion into E2. Many factors play a part in your weekly distribution of T.
It would be really nice to see a general graph showing Test C levels ALONG WITH Test levels with HCG injection the 2 days before the Test C injection for BOTH SubQ and IM ALONG WITH E2 levels.
not so much of a dip HOWEVER, what you put about peak the first day, yes 100% some ppl say you cant feel cyp right away, that is not my experience, my heart within hours start pumping, followed by erections lol
I would also take Anast. minimum twice a week at lower dose; say .15 mg twice a week. Better protocol is Anast. eod at, say, .10 mg. I'm sensitive to the stuff and literally get enough by just scraping some off a Pil and licking it, then washing down with water.Originally Posted by jomamma007
way to hijack a thread. and no mg's never account to levels. Its apples and oranges if you compare the two. Never one size fits all. I have 70 year old on 25 mg a week of test with levels at 1250 and 30 year olds on 200mg at 700. Not one size fits all.
