    Estradiol vs Estradiol sensitive

so i get bloods on the 23rd,
    estradiol 54H(7-42.6)
then I get bloods on the 28th
    Estradiol Sensitive 6(3-70)
Having said that my test level was 1062 on the 24th and 665 on the 28th for some reason, possibly because the23rd was 2 days after injection and the 28th was about 4 days, but that's still a huge variance.
No ai taken or change in dose.
I felt crappy so I wasn't sure if my levels were high or low but everybody says to go with the sensitive panel. Just wanted to share

Thanks. I wish we had more examples of people getting both panels to see the differences.

well twice a week is 3.5 days between injections.
Because of life I was behind half a day on the injection. Was very suprised to see that half a day lead to such a difference in test levels.
But yeah these results don't really mean much since my levels seemed so much lower. Next time I'll probably test 2 days after injection to be sure.

    Interesting for sure.

I just had my bloods taken Friday for my 8 week
Indus the sensitive assay for E. Curious to how it looks. That's quite a difference though. How could it vary that much? Does anyone know?
If T dropped that much, E would follow?

    Seems like it.
My last test in september had
    Estradiol
    45H(7-42.6)

    Next day

    Estradiol sensitive
    19(3-70)
    Same T level for both

e2snsitive is supposed to be more accurate. i actually figured they would be relatively similar, but this is quite interesting. i do believe that a regular e2 test is better than nothing though, and i would never drop a dr or fight with one just bc they only prescribed a regular e2. if the worst thing your dr does is test regular e2, then you are in good hands.

Wish pleasure I let me doc prescribe my standard e2 test, but then I completely ignore it and go, at this point until I'm fully dialed in, get a monthly sensitive test on my own.

The way I understand it is that the sensitive E is more accurate the lower you are (i.e. it reads the lower end more accurately).
