finally seeing a TRT specialist. Want to know if the plan he has for me looks ok.

Just some background info:

21 yrs old

low T since I was 16.

Have bern taking TRT shots just given by my family doctor. Nothing else.No hcg or anything. Just 200mg cyp 2x a week. Got sick of my test and estro going up and down so found a specialist.

current bloodwork taken a week ago was

Total test: 256ng/dl

free:50ng/dl

e2(estradiol): 42

the plan he has me starting this week is

200mg cyp 25 iu SQ 2x a week
clomid 50 mg 2x a week on injection days
arimidex .5mg 2x a week on injection days.

then he will take blood in 6 wks to check.

Thoughts? Did I finally find someone who knows wtf they're doing?

ps: he said he gave me clomid and not hcg because its just another injection and its better price wise to go with clomid. I am worried tho because I have heard of low libido and energy sides with clomid vs hcg.

200mg cyp 25 iu SQ 2x a week is this .25mls 2x a week? so 100mgs total? If so that's a great starting dose
clomid 50 mg 2x a week on injection days silly for trt purposes
arimidex .5mg 2x a week on injection days. shouldn't start arimidex until you've given your dose 6 weeks for bloods to stabilize to see if it's even needed.

I wouldn't mess with clomid if you're taking exogenous test. HCG is a better option, but it's not a must. Given your age I would try to take it nonetheless, if even from an outside source.
Start with 50mgs 2x week sq as instructed, test bloods in 6 weeks and then see if arimidex is needed.
Should also supplement with 50mg micronized DHEA and PREGNENOLONE daily in the am...

25iu=50mg. Looks pretty good. You should take the arimidex 24 hours after test injection to get the most of it. Also, that could be on the high side with arimidex. .25 24 hours after injection seems like a better starting point but Im not your doctor.

1mg of arimidex on 100mgs test a week without knowing estrogen levels prior, is just asking for trouble IMHO

My e2 level was 42. That might be why he has me on the adex. Im just sketched about the clomid and sides. I kind of just want to ask for hcg but im not the specialist. I just wanted to see what ppl thought or if anyone has used clomid instead of hcg on trt and had success.

and yes he gave me a list of supplements that arent needed, but would be optimal for me to take. Dhea and preg. Was on it, so I will deff. Pick them up.

I know of no one that is on test plus clomid. Is this done? Clomid only yes but never combined with testosterone. Correct me if I'm wrong guys.
