TRT Doesn't Work
Tried it...had low T, high E.
Nope. No effect except to raise my hematocrit and hemoglobin.
Waste of money.

Sounds like you had a bad doctor to me. Maybe you should of seen a doctor that knew what he was doing. That is like saying that hip replacement surgery doesn't work because you went to an optometrist to get it done.

What exactly where you trying to fix when you say "doesn't work"
If your T levels went back up and E went down, then "TRT worked", if your levels didn't get fixed, find a new doc.
If your levels are fixed but it didn't fix whatever problem your having, maybe your problem your wanting fixed is not due to low T. TRT was amazing for me but it's not a magical elixir.

You sound like the guy that takes 1 shot, goes to the gym that night and says "I can tell it's working already" lol.
Go see a DOCTOR and don't just jab a needle in your ass and hope for the best, So many dumbasses taking test from a friend and making everyone else look bad.

200 mg every two weeks, 1 mg of Anastanzerole per week.
Is this bad?

Notsureiftrollorsrs
any protocol that has you injecting every 2 weeks is a joke. No wonder it didn't work for you.
You'll get a huge spike in T and E the first few days, but before your next injection your levels are back down in the gutter, possibly even lower then before you started treatment.
Plus did you ever figure out why you have low T>? If it's thyroid or related to adrenal insufficiency, then just taking some test is the same as putting a band-aid on a cut off arm and expecting it to be okay.

cyp ester you should be doing a minimum of 1 shot per week, I split mine into two shots per week at lower doses (cyp) and for your Anastanzerole is that 1mg pill once a week?

No, not trolling (at least not intentionally
The doc here in the area runs a clinic about anti-aging. I thought he would know his stuff as he's been there for a long time.
Finding a doc around Detroit is nearly impossible.

your routine sounds like a good way to swing all over the place throughout the month.
You also need to give TRT time, takes your body a while to adjust
What issues related to low T are you trying to address?
How old are you?

39. I had the test and got 144 ng/dl. So I naturally thought of low T. But the docs are leery around here for a guy my age.
Would Androgel work? Read about it and it seems to be kind of suckish.
Maybe WILL try the one the site recommends.
City of Detroit has worst insurance on the planet.

you can't just stop cold turkey! you are shutdown by now, you need to do a recovery treatment so you get back to your base. how you feel now?
and BTW, that's a terrible protocol. Geeeeezzzz.... with all the info available today and some docs (so called TRT clinic docs) still don't get it! if you were paying out of pocket I suggest you call LowT.com, you can't go wrong there.

Ditto what Bass said.
The protocol you describe would discourage ANYONE! Many on this forum have lived through the same crap you describe. A shite protocol and physicians who are still stuck in the late 20th century. I have experienced it and this forum saved me.
Get away from that doctor and that clinic. If I didn't have my doc (who is actually one of those I describe, but prescribes my T and lets me do things my way), Lowtestosterone.com is the way I'd go also.Last edited by 2Sox; 11-12-2013 at 08:12 AM.

Boku,
Kind, constructive criticism (which is sometimes a boot in the ass) is what everyone who posts here deserves. Insult serves no useful purpose. It just discourages people from expressing their opinions and experiences. ANY post can be useful, no matter how it may at first seem to us. Remember: Every man struggling with low T is in some degree of pain on many levels. Compassion goes a long way. Doesn't mean you can't say it straight.Last edited by 2Sox; 11-11-2013 at 07:35 PM.

Terrible protocol, check the sponsor or find another clinic also surf this section and educate yourself for a few weeks and you'll be much better equipped to work with a doc or clinic concerning TRT. Keep us updated on your progress.

Headhunter, I've had to known you were gonna get immediately attacked with ur original post? TRT has changed/improved thousands here, if you listen to just the last 3 or 4 posts above open minded, you could be another one.

It's not a cake walk just because you take TRT. You still need to work hard at it..
but don't give up...
Check out what i accomplished after one year on TRT

My doc prescribe me 200mg ONCE A MONTH!! Then after a consultation he let me 200mg 2x a month. Still sucky, I changed it to 25mg every 3.5 days and have felt more stable this way.. Now the boys are shrinking and I'm trying to get HCG on board.. I agree it's very frustrating but it does take time. I'm 35 so I understand the doc being leery about TRT.

Headhunter, I was in exactly your place a while back. 200 mg every 2 weeks is a terrible protocol. Trust me, listen to the knowledgeable people on this forum, read, ask questions. That will help you know when you've found the right Doc. Once you have the right Doc with the right protocol, you will be amazed at the result. Trt truly is a life CHANGER. Stick with it.
