Need advice on what to do about new doc

    Hi,
I'm on my 4th week of TRT (60mg's of test C on Tuesday morning and Friday night for a total of 120mg's a week plus 250iu's of HCG on Monday and Wednesday morning and Friday night for a total of 750iu's a week). Before that, I started a blast cycle of 250mg's of test C on Tuesday morning and Friday night for a total of 500mg's a week, 250 iu's of HCG on Monday morning and Friday night for a total of 500iu's a week, 12.5mg of aromasin a day and 30mg's of danabol a day for the first 4 weeks. I cut this cycle short at the 5th week and started trt immediately afterwards. Basically, this is my 9th week on.

    Cliff notes:
    Week 1: 500mg's test e (250x2), 12.5mg's aromasin, 500iu's HCG (250x2), 30mg's danabol (10x3)
    Week 2: 500mg's test e (250x2), 12.5mg's aromasin, 500iu's HCG (250x2), 30mg's danabol (10x3)
    Week 3: 500mg's test e (250x2), 12.5mg's aromasin, 500iu's HCG (250x2), 30mg's danabol (10x3)
    Week 4: 500mg's test e (250x2), 12.5mg's aromasin, 500iu's HCG (250x2), 30mg's danabol (10x3)
    Week 5: 500mg's test e (250x2), 12.5mg's aromasin, 500iu's HCG (250x2)
    Week 6: 120mg's test c (60x2), 500iu's HCG (250x2)
    Week 7: 120mg's test c (60x2), 500iu's HCG (250x3)
    Week 8: 120mg's test c (60x2), 750iu's HCG (250x3)
    Week 9: 120mg's test c (60x2), 750iu's HCG (250x3) <-------Current week

Enough of the background. Here's what's going on. This is a new doc and he prescribed 200mg's a week of test c, 200mg's a week of deca and 1500iu's a week of HCG. I didn't want to go crazy like this so I went with the the protocol you see from week 6 and beyond. I increased the hcg to 3 times a week and that stopped the softness in my balls.

When I saw the doc yesterday, I asked to run labs. He was a little hesistant but said ok for CBC, lipids, liver values and estradiol. When I asked about testosterone , he siad not because he didn't want a report with a high testosterone level, in case an auditor came through. Basically, he doesn't want to check testosterone.

What should I do? I was thinking that I really don't need to know my testosterone levels . I just need to know estradiol, hematocrit, liver and cholesterol. I don't want to be pushy with this new doc and have to find a new one, especially since he gives scripts for everything, while other docs around here don't want to give out HCG, AI's etc. or let you self inject. With this guy, all I need to do is come in for lab work and refills.

    Thanks

First, curious why you suddenly stopped your cycle?
Is there an AI involved on TRT or are you ok without?

Glad you're being prescribed all that you need yet have the common sense to know to scale it back. If you read this forum often you know it's not always easy to find a doc to help. On the other hand, he should be monitoring you to make sure you're dialed in for liability purposes, instead of putting his head in the sand when it comes to Test levels. You may consider impressing on him that you do less that prescribed and you're sure your levels will be normal. Further you need this to make titrations to your protocol if needed.

If none of that works, take a look at private md labs .com and pull what you need there.

I was gonna suggest private md labs as well^^^ I hear you loud and clear with you get what you want/need, it is difficult with so many Dr's and their failure to understand TRT or lack of any clue! Bothers me a litle bit he is covering his own ass and not testing u for Tes because he doesnt want a red flag in your file, what if your levels are super inflated, shouldnt you know??
Personally I would stick with him but you seem to have a good feel for the testing you need done and I would probaly just pay and do it outside. Most importantly if your numbers are "jacked" you will no and rectify it and you could always show him the report, does not need to go into your perm file.

    Hi,
I stopped the cycle because I dind't know what kind of doc he was (strict or not) so I didn't want to get in trouble with him during blood tests. After talking to him and some of his patients yesterday, I see that he supports cycles but I didn't know that in the beginning. He lets me pick up a 10mL vial once a month so I don't want to lose this guy.

I'm gonna go with privateMd Labs nad get my own labwork.

    Thanks for the advice.

Well, always good to have a little extra in stock. Especially when you hear the horror stories some of the guys post about obtaining their scripted test.

I've got a question. Is it more important to know the stuff such as hematocrit, estradiol, ALT, AST, GGT, LDL, HDL, CHOL than to know the total testosterone number?

I think he's nervous because of his prescriptions. When I walked in the door for our first ever meeting, I walked out 30 minutes later with a prescription for 200mg's of test and 200mg's of deca a week with 1500 iu's of HCG . He most likely knows that I would have had a super high test level and if the lab or his office gets audited, he would have some explaining to do.

If it weren't for these forums and you guys (I really appreciate the help and advice, thank you), I would have shot all that in my ass and wondered why I was growing titties.

Or, I would have went with the other doc who wanted to shoot me with 400mg's every 2 weeks with no AI or HCG.

Total T is really not that important on cycle unless you have doubts about your gear and want to check it. Many mainstream labs cut you off at > 1500 anyway.
Goal is to elevate your test, not everything else! Anabolics have varying effects. Example Tren is very harsh on lipids and so on...

If you're referring to TRT then total T is less important than free T.

OK then. I'm not worried about cycling anyway. I just don't want to deal with the trouble of monitoring anymore.

I just want to dial something in and leave it alone.

To be honest, I'm contemplaing going on Androgel . It just seems easier to just slap on some gel every morning after you shower and be done with it.

Understood. Whatever testosterone delivery system that works best for you and your lifestyle is the way to go.

If you are not using AAS, then deca will shut you down and thus lower testosterone levels .
