Oral vs Injectible HcG
Is one better than the other? If so, why?

I don't think HCG is able to absorbed orally - it is a large molecule and would be broken down in our stomachs like any protein/peptide. I'm pretty sure it has to be injected.

My doc claims sublingual hcg troches are just as effective. But I stick to injectable hcg. I know it works and is much cheaper.

I've seen one study where the subjects took HCG sublingually for two minutes (in a liquid solution) and they tested their blood on various days and none of the subjects had detectable levels of HCG.
Some people claim that HCG is absorbed somewhat sublinguallly, but that you need 2-3 times the desired dose in order to achieve the proper concentration in the body. I have not seen one case of anyone measuring blood levels in order to prove that it absorbed. Rather, they take hcg sublingually, do on a 500 calorie diet, and then to them, the fact that they lose weight is proof that the hcg is absorbed. Obviously, the 500 calorie might be the reason for the weight loss, so I don't think that counts as evidence of hcg absorbtion.
I think the whole sublingual hcg thing is a product of the popular hcg diet and the marketing to people who would not be willing to inject themselves.
Why don't you try your own experiment with sublingual dosage and see what happens to your testicles and then report back here. I'm sure many inquiring minds would like to know.
Ballsak, I'd ask your doctor for the study that evidences the absorption with blood tests. Until I see that, my money is on the doc not knowing what they are talking about. Hcg is such a large molecule, I would think you get erratic absorption at best, although, naturally, a study with blood levels could convince me otherwise.

There is no "oral" hcg and as has been pointed out the poly peptide chain is not effectively absorbed sublingually.
That being said injectable is IMO the only way to go.

Don't bother unless it's injectable. Just like Hgh there is no oral version.

so what is being sold as oral HCG ? water?

Who knows? It might be real hcg , it might even have absorption enhancers like alcohol intended to increase absorption for sublingual administration, but that still doesn't mean it is well absorbed that way.

Just stick to injectable hcg . Yours balls will be happier. Sublingual hcg is most likely hcg, but, as t.a.b. pointed out, it's a matter of if the hcg gets absorbed.
