    Question Traveling with HCG

I am leaving Sunday afternoon for a week-long business trip. I think I know the answer to this question, but I'm going to ask it anyhow...

My test-cyp shots are currently on Monday morn & Thurs eve. I can take my HCG before I leave Sunday, but would normally take another dose on Wednesday (24 hours before test). Should I just skip HCG for Wed and take it Friday eve when I get back? Or should I find a way to travel with my pre-loaded insulin syringe? HCG is more of a pain since I have to keep it cold. Test has travelled with me (with Rx) so no probs there.

I do this about once every 4-6 weeks so it's not a just a one-time thing. Should I invest in a small cooler for the single syringe? Or no big deal with delaying the one dose when needed?

    Thanks!

When I went to Hawaii for a week I skipped my dose just to make life easy. But you could easily load a syringe and just place in fridge once you arrive. It will be fine even if left out for a few days.

i also travel frequently and am on a similar trt prescripton. in addition i am dosing everyday with semorelin and ghrp2/6, which also needs refrigeration. i have an insulated envelope with 4-5 cold packs that keeps them cold for up to 8 hours. i understand that hcg and my peptides are 'ok' up to 24 hours at room temp. i've had no trouble with these vials (and test and needles) with tsa at airport.

    safe travels.

That's interesting that the hcg should be ok left unrefrigerated for that long. I was under the impression (from my clinic) that it can "go bad" if left at room temperature for anything longer than ~30 mins. Mine are all pre-loaded from the clinic and already in my fridge -- not sure if that makes a difference since it will go from cold to warm and back to cold again. BTW, it's only a quick 2 hour flight so won't be out for longer than 6 hours or so total.

Bartman, do you have any info on the insulated envelope that you use? Most of the ones I have found online are for insulin -- and again, I was under the impression that the hcg needed to stay refrigerator cold so they didn't seem to be a very good option for those temps. Also would love to know more about your semorelin and ghrp2/6. I'm currently investigating options on GH and/or peptides for additional benefits on top of the TRT (which has been great so far).

Thanks for the input so far!!!

Yep. I have missed doses and noticed no difference. I went about two weeks between refills and just began to notice slight shrinkage. All went back to normal with the next dose.

That's pretty much the direction I was leaning. It seems like too much of a hassle trying to keep it cold during transport when I can just take it 2 days later when I get home.

    Thanks for the inputs!

I took some 1500iu pregnyl vials with me and left them in the rented car as it was still quite cold, around +8 in the street.. I took 3 vials and took a 400-500iu shot every 4 days and threw out the unused solution.. I know it worked because when I shoot over 300iu in one go my left breast becomes slightly tender and it did every time...

You'll live without it. Keep it simple, not worth the hassle.

If you MUST take it with you simply buy an insulin travel pack. Google them.

Or you can travel economy; get an old hard side eyeglasses case and use it to hold your prefilled syringes. Easy to travel with. If you're really concerned, you can place it with an ice pack in one of those very small soft side lunch coolers for sandwiches. Easy to fit into a carry on or laptop case. Target and Walmart usually carry them.

    No,

I think for the most part it's already been said, your not gonna "die" if you miss a dose of HcG ....many people are on TRT and do not even use HcG. Not looking to be rude but there is a such thing as "over" engineering things and I'm pretty sure if u miss a dose you won't know one way or the other.

You can easily travel with your HCG out of the fridge and just put it in the fridge once you get to where you're going. You're HCG isn't going to go bad. Or skip your HCG shot and life will pretty much continue as it does right now.

I travel on business 5-7+ days many times. I just front-load some Test & take a shot of HCG the night before my flight and I'm G2G. Besides, I cant imagine bothering with this stuff while traveling or leaving some HCG in the room fridge for a cleaning lady to discover...

Gawd. I used to be so obsessive with hcg . Had to take it with me even on weekend trips. One day I got tired of it and left it behind on a week-long trip to the coast. Each day, I would feel my nuts(more than usual) to make sure they were still there. Guess what...they completely disapeared one day. Now, I have no nuts. J/K, of course. All was good even after a week without it.
