Muscle Pain at the Injection Site

My doc suggested I shoot into the thigh muscle.
I did and I have discomfort similar to after getting punched in the thigh...

    Muscle bruise or something else?

Never had any pain in the shoulder...

    Virgin muscle.

How fast did you inject? What size needle? A lot of pain is from injecting to fast causing a bruise. I try to take 1 minute or more per cc.

Rotate sites. I do quads, chest, shoulders, glute etc.

Injecting S-L-O-W-L-Y will help immensely. Too fast and you may feel like you've been kicked by a mule. Also keep your hand steady. Running warm water over the body of the syringe, warming the oil, helps also.

I've mentioned this several times. It works for me and others, but not 100%.

your glute is your largest muscle in your body, and should be able to handle injection more so than any other site. For the past year or so, it's the only place I pin.

and god gave me two, so I can rotate sites....
