Let me give an example. I myself was diagnosed with low T. But found out later it was because of a medication i was on. Which i no longer take. I know this has happened to others. Do you feel these people have any chance at hpta recovery after years of hrt?
It's possible, yes. Won't know till you try. As for PCT, I would assume it would be the same as a cycle... Kelkel may chime in with the power pct by Dr. Scally. If not, just google 'power pct'.

If your TRT protocol included hCG then there is a chance, but doubt it. just my opinion.
I did a google search and was reading through threads on various forums where they were doing standard PCT after years of TRT and fully recovering. Majority all used HCG during TRT and/or started using HCG prior to stopping TRT (enough time to get the boys full size and start functioning).
So if you were using HCG I think you have a chance. If no HCG, I would start using a good 700-1000iu weekly for a good month prior to stopping your TRT protocol for the greatest chance of recovering.
I would definitely introduce hcg at some point if you aren't already like mentioned. And then at minimum run a fairly longer than normal pct protocol, I've heard of people doing 6 month periods but I'm not sure if you would need that duration or not. I know there are doctors experienced with this sort of thing. If you can ask yours if he has done this before for starters, and then maybe start looking for others. There are also private trainers with experience in this although a bit harder to find. Most experienced persons with HRT won't have a good answer to this because they have never come off, unless they have done a lot of research on others who have done similar.
I wouldn't bother.
Thanks for all the posts! This is a question ive wondered if possible. But have never heard if it has been successfully done. I will agree it is highly unlikely its possible without hcg!
Dave said pretty much what I would say. According to Scally length of time shut down doesn't really matter. I'd consider age, etc in this decision. Meaning if you're not a kid you may consider Bona's advice, it's always direct and to the point.
I think the success rate is around 50/50 if your in your 20's and the odds go down a lot if your older.
