What does T do for you.

Hi all. Im a couple weeks away from starting a legit TRT protocol, as clomid didnt work to eleviate any of my symptoms, and without clomid, I tank to 300s.

Anyways, here is my question. Before I started going through this medical mess with low T and E and having severe negative mental symptoms of both, I was a very warm, compassionate, creative, soft type of guy. Loyal boyfriend, simple guy. Good libido yes, but not a sex crazed animal drooling over meat.

My question is this. Will going on TRT help me get back to being that happy go lucky, warm loving guy, or will it make me something else. Horny over everything I see, aggressive, etc.

Im hoping to just be myself again with TRT, what I was before this all happened, not something else. Has that been your experience with TRT? Feeling like your "old self" when you were healthy?

    Any input is appreciated.

    Thanks

usually when we get cranky its because of stress, pain, depression, tired, etc... and if your symptoms are cause by low T, then yea TRT will definitely help make you a happier guy.

The simple answer to 1. above is, yes. And to number 2. is no.

The trick is to get "dialed in" and that involves a lot of trial and error. When you are like your "old self" is when you have it right.

Funny this thread comes up now. Was speaking with my wife yesterday. I asked her if I've had a bad temper or anything since I started TRT a little over 2 months ago. She told me not really but I've been more fun-loving and more passionate (not just sexual). She said I had gotten to where I just didn't care as much about things but now, I'm more like my old self getting passionate about things I believe in.

I can totally see what she's talking about after she told me. One of the things I complained to the doc about when I first went to inquire about TRT was that I just had no drive any longer. The drive has returned.

Overall, it's been good things for me.

all t therapy has done for me is to greatly improve my body composition , and greatly improve my efforts in the gym.... easy to lift when u get results like crazy (well compared to my very low 154 total t level self 11 months ago) . gained a good 15-20 lbs of muscle and new "normal" bodyfat is probably like 11% versus 16-17%. this in turn makes me happy, ...and this is just with mid range normal t levels ... makes me wanna start juicin'!! j/k

hasnt made me hornier (sex/porn addict already before t therapy..ready for a straight jacket.)
