    Sustained release anastrozol

Has anyone heard of this stuff? I am on 0.5 mg a week and both my doc and compounding pharmacy say you only need to take it once a week. (sustained release). My concern is that a google search and plenty of reading here show absolutely no mention at all of a sustained release AI you only need to take once a week. Obviously I could start doing a couple labs a week to monitor E2 throughout the week and see for myself but thought I'd throw it out here first.
I have been on 200 mgs a week TRT for about 3 years now and never took an AI until last month. E2 has run slightly high but not too high usually so decided to try out the AI. Labs have been in the 800's for test and 55ish for E2 before I started the AI. I must be a fast metabolizer of test (thats what my doc calls it) because 200 mgs a week never takes me over 1000. I do frequent labs on my own.

    Thanks

They use nano-particles to encapsulate the adex thus causing a sustained release.

Sustained release optimized formulatio... [J Mater Sci Mater Med. 2011] - PubMed - NCBI

I didn't know it was being used yet. Neat.
