You would likely need injections for the rest of your life this is called TRT. Pharm grade gear is the best type but they will likely only give you 100mg/week or something in that range.

    Mick,

Allow me to give you some invaluable advice, you better do your homework and know what you are getting into before you take one SINGLE shot. Do NOT trust your Doctor and assume he/she knows what they are doing just because they hold an MD. Most Drs do not realize that one shot could have long lasting effects on you such as hurting/limiting your bodies own naturel production of Tes, not to mention multiple shots.
If your Doc is telling you the game plan is to give you weekly shots for 4 or 5 weeks and that will bring your body back up to making more T, run like hell! Actually th eexact opposite will occur. Do your homework here....

mick, you just said it, once you are on Tes injections you will be on them for the rest of your life, this is called TRT. If you stop your body will not produce any Tes because you basically "turned" it off by using outside Tes, this many of times is permanent.
My only point is make sure you understand this is for life not something you do short term and them your cured.
