Side effects of HRT

I was put on HRT about 6 weeks ago, I figured since I have to be on it, hopefully I can use it to help me grow. However I recently had some sever side effects.
I started on
.50cc cyp once a week for 6 weeks and was bumped to .70cc
4 days after my .50cc injection I did my .70cc (probably not smart) and took my first dose of Arimdex (1mg)
45 minutes later I felt like hell, from what I can tell maybe bad anxiety. thought I was gonna die... lol. it lasted for over 24 hrs. Now day 3 and I still don't feel right. Don't even want to go to the gym. Is this common? And should I expect this on my next injection? Not fun that's for sure. prior I felt great totally energetic happy etc.. Any ideas??? or Help for a Newbie

1 mg of adex is to much but even that said it wouldnt hit you that fast. you are experiencing a spike in androgens though assumining you pinned 3 days earlier than normal?

Too much ARIMIDEX . I see A LOT of guys using way to much of these AI's. You only need about 0.25mg ED or even EOD/E3D

Arimadex for sure. And yes 1mg is a lot at once, especially if you haven't worked up to it. .25 ed or .50 e3d should be good.

I am assuming your testosterone us 200/ml. That would only be 140mg. I have used 5 time that much in one shot and didn't feel any different after. Also i can't imagine 45 mins after a intramuscular injection it would even be absorbed yet.

You guys suggesting .25 ed of armididex is way too much. You ought to start off light. Your doc probably has you taken that 1 mg with your shot weekly, which would be better than .25 ed. You might consider doing .5mg 8-12 hours after your shot instead. Or better yet start injecting half of what you are doing and do it twice a week, then take .25mg 8-12 hours after shot. The thing is we haven't seen your blood work so we have no idea how badly you need an ai. You really ought to post this in the trt section with blood work values and ranges listed. Also one thing to note is an ai dose might be right early on, but later it could be too much, so you will have to pay attention to how you feel. I know when I take higher dose of AI I feel horrible, so mine is split into twice a week. I once was doing eod, but it just built up too much in my system and crashed my e2, and that was with .25 eod, and 200mg test c a week.

Op you need to first find out what is causing this reaction. To do that just take your next shot without taking your adex. If you dont have the same reaction. You know you need to adjust your adex. If you have the same reaction to your shot(which is almost impossible in 45min unless you got it in a vein) try cutting your shot into 2 doses and taking them every 3.5 days.

Surprised this hasn't been said yet, but STOP the ADEX until you find out if your E2 is high. Then start back up slowly with a .25 2x per week or LESS. This drug is extremely strong and will knock you down fast. 1mg is always too high for trt.

Not only that but even at 140 mg is still high. But I wouldn't even take .25 without seeing BW and seeing where your E2 is. I was doing .5 Every three days and almost crashed my E2. Blood work first.

Just FYI it's day 3 and I still don't feel great, better but not great, this sucks to be honest. I hopeall it was is the DEX.

Kj, you will feel better soon. It takes time for trt, once you get dialed in you will start feeling better. But it takes up to a year to feel all the effects. I get better all the time and I only been at it for about 6 months now. Have patience, you are at the right place. A lot info here from ppl who have been one trt for years. Good luck.

Thanks ppwc i was feeling great till this issue. but not giving up. I really appreciate all the comments and help. Tried too work out last night but only got half way through before feeling poorly.

Feel pretty good after this injection was even able to hit the gym. so will this leverl of test give me much results? I have shown a lil improvement tho

I was feeling similar when I was taking too much anstrazole. I switched to liquid stane 12.5mg x2 a day. Feel great.

You took way too much adex. Was your E2 high or were you just self dosing?

I only take .1 mg adex EOWeek to keep my E2 in check. You have to see how your body responds to it. Its very powerful.

I'm high, but taking 1mg at once is too much. It was my first dose. Totally jacked me up.

Let us know as/when you start to feel better. Hopefully you get your E2 under control soon.

I have not had good luck with liquid stane. Adex seems to works better.

I feel TONS better now back to normal. but haven't taken my Adex yet. I'm only going to take .25 not 1mg this time
