    6 week results. Im shocked.

Hi guys. Quick background. I've been on TRT for 9 weeks. The blood work Im about to share is from the 6 week mark. Im 23 years old, my doctor was allowing for a trial TRT period to see if it would help my symptoms because clomid didnt. Not sure what he will suggest after seeing these results and learning symptoms didnt improve.

Im about 5'9" 165 pounds, probably around 10-12% BF.

    Symptoms
-Depression (not as in sadness, as in numbness, joyless)
    -Low libido
    -Joint Pain/weakness/cracking/popping.
-Overall body pain, weak bone feeling

    Protocol weeks 1-8

    Test Cyp 50mg Sub@ E3D
    HCG 350 IU E3D
    AI 1/4 tab E3D

Protocol as of last week (changed it a bit)

Cyp 50mg IM (shoulder with insulin needles still) Mon/Thurs
    HCG 300 IU Mon/Thurs
    AI 1/4 Tab Mon/Thurs

I changed it because I thought I wasnt absorbing the SubQ correctly. Which obviously wasnt the case. Its weird though, the past week since the change my body as felt a bit better overall.

Do I stay on TRT for atleast 6 months to see if things change for me? Or should I just get back on low dose clomid and finally give in to the doctors advice that I have clinical depression which is causing my low T, not the other way around.

Here are the numbers. (1 day after subQ injection)

All blood levels didnt change and are in range so I wont post them.

    Estradiol (ultrasensitive) 28 (<29)

    Total Testosterone 1267 (250-1100)
    Free Testosterone 216 (46-224)
    Bio Avaliable T 426 (110-575)
    SHBG 34 (10-50)

    Pregnenolone 56 (13-208)
    DHEA Sulfate 389 (110-510)
    LH 0.2 (1.5-9.3)
    DHT 55 (16-79)

    CRP <1.0 (<5)

Im surprised how high the Test levels are, especially since my body still feels horrible.

    Any thoughts guys?

As always, thanks for taking the time to read and help.

What were your numbers Prior to TRT?
    Do you have Hemacrit values?
Do you have Vit D3 tested?

Ive always been told more is not always better, meaning that instead of 100mg per week, try 90mg per week etc.

But im not to experienced, im still learning, ive been told some guys feel terrible on high doses of testosterone, where you would think more would make u feel better, but nope. Other way around for some lol.

Thanks for the reply Roger. Hemacrit values were all good. All blood related levels were.

Vit D3 was 50 (30-100) but it usually is in the 60-80 range, I just didnt supplement for a few weeks prior to see where it would land.

My numbers prior to TRT arent helpful because I was just coming off clomid for the second time. Clomid does raise my T, but whenever I come off of it, my levels drop into the 300's and my LH drops in the 1-2 range.

Sorry mate, I cant be of anymore help. The lads here have helped me with my current issues and things seem to finally be getting better for me. There great here and will have you fixed up in no time.

9 weeks isn't all that long to get dialed in tho mate. It can take up to 1year. Its really a hard choice to make if you wanna remain on TRT for life. Things to consider

Injections few times weekly for ever.
    constant bloodwork.
keeping an eye on your prostate every few months
keeping an eye on your HCT and donating bloods regularly.
remembering to take your medications when you are supposed to so you don't screw your routine up.

its a lot to take in mate. So the more shut down you are the more likely you have no choice but to be on TRT

id say 9 weeks would qualify for a restarts or power PCT and see how things are. 1 year may still be available but deffs I reckon a lot harder.

Just some food for though m8 and my 2c.

Good luck ill be keeping an eye on your thread.

You need to give it more time for the subjective benefits to take place. We all respond at different rates to this.
Total T doesn't really matter. You're free T is great. You tested one day after injection so you tested at your peak.
I'd stay the course for a while and see how it goes, imho.
Roger brings up some good points above.

Thanks Kel. Im not surprised that I dont feel better mentally. I know that mental issues are complex and take more time. Im just surprised that after 9 weeks if Im riding good T levels that my body doesnt feel better. I would think at the least that would be the case. Im also surprised by blood didnt change or get at all thicker.

When I was doing subQ I actually felt the worst on the shot day.

Can HCG and Cyp be injected in the same syringe? Just wondering, because minimizing shots would be nice.

Im going to give it 6 months, and If I dont feel better Ill just go back on clomid and try controlling shbg and e2 better.

    Thanks
