    Traveling with TRT gear..

I'm heading out of the country and I know diabetics can carry all their gear on. (needles and insulin )
So with my bottle in the prescription bag , clearly labeled with my name on it and two or three needles do you think it will be an issue.

Does anyone have ANY real first hand experience with this issue??

My next step is to call TSA directly.

    Thanks in advance,

    R.

I always front-load some test when traveling international based on the length of time gone and skip the HCG . I do take my pill meds with me like Arimidex & other daily (non-controlled) scripts. Calling TSA is fine, but you never know what customs officials in a given country will do upon entry. Others will say different, but it's just not worth the potential hassle IMO...

There have been a few threads regarding travel, but I don't recall any that were taking about international.

I'd be interested in hearing this as well

I'm leaving at 0600hrs tomorrow for a vacation out of the country. I'm taking a bottle of test with just enough in it for my next shot while away and packing it in my checked luggage. Not worried at all. My normal Monday morning shot will be done Sunday night.

I have travelled UK,Asia,USA and always put the test and needles in my checked baggage, never had a problem. In your carry on you may have a problem with needles.

Thanks for the input.. I will be gone long enough that I will need 3 shots. I guess I'll just pack it and hope it gets there.

I have traveled to Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippines, and Mongolia in the past 2 months. I carry one bottle Test in my carry on bag with a bottle of insulin . I also have my Argean oil for my hair, toothpaste, small shampoo and small conditioner, and individual cologne sprayers (small) for 3 scents and 4 syringes. Never questioned once. I cannot speak on Euro or North America but Asia really does not care at this time as long as you adhere to the "normal" travel requirements for liquids.

All listed above is in the appropriate sized ziplock bag as required for international travel and in my carry on. If I was ever to be questioned I would say "insulin" because there is insulin in the bag. I would do a lot more research on this before trying to enter the USA or other country where the politicians are all about the prison system for profit.

    Good Luck!

Same as most of the others. I travel to Mexico, Philippines, Thailand and other places with my TRT no problem but just to be safe I also got a letter from my doctor saying it's OK to travel with.

I would not suggest this because it looks like you are hiding something and who knows what is in the syringe at that point.

I actually try to travel with a new unopened bottle/vial with my RX. No questions asked this way.

I would not risk travelling with loaded pins. These will get picked up on the x ray of checked baggage. Recently travelling out from the US I had 100cc of paint in checked baggage. Was called back to check in an hour later and the paint was confiscated, so all bags are checked.

they are too busy looking for the big tooth paste to notice syringes. but seriously, I travel the world and have never had an issue. I prefer to stow my gear instead of carrying it on. less hassle.

keep the zip lock bags your pharmacy gives you. it will have your name on it and the Rx. You can put other similar items in there, and really, no one asks questions.
