Has anybody been prescribed tamoxifen instead of Arimidex?
I have always had problems with Arimidex . I am extremely gyno prone and have had surgery 3 times to remove. When I take arimidex, I still get the sore nips and gyno unless I take the arimidex enough (1MG EOD) to completely eliminate my estrogen. In turn, my white blood cell count is low and I have joint pains, etc. I know I need a little estrogen. When I try to lower the does though (.5 EOD), the nip pain comes back.
Has anybody been prescribed anything else to combat estrogen, like Tazoxifen?
Thanks

That's quite a heavy dose, especially for TRT. Can I ask how much body fat do you carry? Height and weight?
Also, what is your TRT protocol?

My dr. Tried to prescribe me 10mg a day of tamox. I was complaining of high estrogen sides so we got BW done and my e2 was high. I told him I wanted an AI Because Breast tenderness was only one of many sides, and tamox doesn't do anything to lower E. HE was unfamiliar with AIs and said he had to do more research. In tne end he didn't feel comfortable prescribing Stane so I switched Drs

My estrogen lebels are nonexistant at the moment due to the amount of Arimidex I take. The weird thing is that when I try to lower dosage, I get the painful nips.
