How long to wait before blasting on TRT

I'm On my 4th month of TRT. Ran the first 6 weeks at 160mg a week (.4CC x 2 a week) and bumped up to 200mg (.5 CC x 2). I know I haven't found my sweet spot yet, but this is because muscle building is my priority. I'll put bloods below if anyone wants to see. I just got my hands on HAVOC and was going to run it for 4-6 weeks to cut up for summer and started thinking "maybe I should wait until I maximize what the TRT has to offer". I read a thread ... 12-16 weeks for muscle mass changes stabilizing at 6 months on TRT... If this is true, should one not be riding TRT at least 6+ months before popping orals on top or blasting with more test.

since you don't have to pct, then it could be quicker than those not on trt.

the correct answer is when all your values return to normal. That amount of time is different for everyone, of course.

Depending on cycle length, and what was taken, I'd suggest two months without knowing any specifics.

OP realistically should wait more towards a year before attempting to blast IMO. You can make significant gains on 200/week with proper training & diet without the need for orals etc. Besides, being new to treatment, this is only going to screw up your blood work and possibly put your Doc/Patient relationship in jeopardy. Then you'll be really focked. Let the treatment do its thing for awhile...

Personally, I waited until I was 100% dialed in on my bloodwork and my emotional state. I waited til I felt good and was on a consistant program (with blood work to back it up) for around 6months. This means I was dialed in for 6 months.

After doing it, I think it would of been better to wait even longer. I have been off my blast for 16 weeks and I plan on doing another one after summer. I think I jumped the gun on my first blast because I could have still made significant gains if I would of gave my diet and nutrition more time. TRT will help you get significant gains on its own but only if you give it some time. Training and nutrition is truly more important in the beginning than doing a blast.

Set a goal of having 3 consistant blood panels after you balance all of your emotional side of TRT and I think you would be at a good starting point. Thinking blood work would be 6 weeks in, 6 months in and then 6 months later.

I've made good gains on only 100 mg a week. If you're doing 200 mg a week you should get good gains on that, if your nutrition and workout plan is good. Don't get desperate. Give it time, you'll get better results that way.

yeah, I missed the part where he is only on his 4th month of TRT. YOu are right, he needs to let that do it's magic first, and allow time for the body to adjust. This will take time. I'm guessing at least a year as well.

    good catch

Why did you bump it up?

You should get dialed in on the proper dose first.

I waited about 11 months to do a blast, then didn't again for another year.

Some things will change possibly like ai dose required etc as your body composition changes, reduce bodyfat etc. But for the most part you should get dialed in then let it do its work, you'll get plenty of gains without blasting for a long time actually.

Did you bump it due to BW or just because you felt like it?

This is the worrying part. TRT isn't about muscle building. It's about feeling normal and having your bloodwork reflect normality.

Assuming you are on legit trt which is being prescribed and monitored by a doc, I'd recommend following your protocol for ad long ad it takes to establish normal bloods that your doc is happy with. Only being in month 4, you're probably due for a few more rounds of blood work before your doc reaches a point they can relax and stop doing regular tests. You don't want to do anything at this point to screw up your blood work. Even if muscle building is your priority, its important to know what dosing is needed to keep you in normal range for when your not blasting. I'm interested in blasting as well, but plan to wait at least a full year before doing it.
