Starting new Protocol

I went the anti-aging clinic route and saw one of their doctors. I was prescribed 200mg/wk of test cyp, Anastrozole and HCG. I hate that I couldn't get a PCP that was up to date on this but oh well I have the extra money. I'm pretty excited, the Dr told me it will take awhile to get dialed in and to be patient. I'm ready to be on top again and change my body composition. This extra BF needs to go. Wish me luck.

there are some that take 200mg/week without a significant increase in sides. Unfortunately, that's not my case. I'm at 80mg/week. IMHO, the docs really should start around 100mg and bump up or down from there. It's a psychological let down for the men when they need to lower their dose because their RBC or hematocrit is too high.

You do know it can take up to three years for all the benefits to be realized (an increase in bone density, for example)

Agree with TR on this, every thing I have studied suggest a starting point of 100mg a week. But I hope all goes well.

This story appears again and again. Your starting dose is too high and any doctor who knows TRT should know better. Conclusion: It's doubtful your doctor or this clinic knows TRT. If you are self injecting, start yourself at 100mg/week as others have suggested. Split it into two doses. You can always go up later and higher levels can (and usually do) cause a plethora of sides you definitely DON'T want. I'd suggest you think long and hard before you fill up that syringe.
