I think I crashed my estradiol

I took 1mg of Arimidex on Tuesday night, tonight I am having hot flashes and big time insomnia. It is almost 2am. The reason I took 1 mg is because I overdid Nebido and was concern about a spike in estrogen. The result is that I am having symptoms of low estrogen. How long does it take before it comes back to normal? Logic would tell you to add more test but I am reluctant to do so.

Some had urged me to take it because my E2 would go up. What is the solution then? Wait it out?

Just relax and breathe. Our bodies are very intuitive machines that are always striving for balance. The only time it needs outside help is when there is a breakdown - disease - which is not the case with you. I'd suggest you wait it out. The balance will return within a week or so. Next time, remember the saying: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Believe me. You have NO idea. ....until you've lived with a woman who is going through it.
