There are lots of threads on this. Hawthorne berry, low dose cialis regimen, arginine, etc. Drink plenty of water. Also, use an average of several BP readings. BP can spike at certain times periodically. Example: After that pot of coffee you just downed.
You should stay on top of hematocrit, my bp gets high when hematocrit levels jump. L Arginine is good for bp.
Just get on the meds.

The first systolic is mosly due to either stress, stimulants and things like flu etc; some people do sit higher I sit at 140 and its ok. The second reading is the important element that measures pressure on your body, pressures on your blood transport systems. This is the one that should be watched closely.
