Interested in cycles between TRT bloodwork
Hi all,
So I've been away for a while, glad to be back on the site again.
I think my last post was questioning the effects of testosterone etc, well since then my endo has put me through a bit of a rollercoaster. I've been on two creams, Testim, Testogel and eventually moved me to Test-E injections at once monthly @ 250mg (body reacted too poorly to the creams).
I'm also on levothyroxine 100mg daily and due to start growth hormone therapy in the autumn.
My question is two fold:
I'm thinking of starting a test-e cycle, this would be 500mg a week for 12 weeks as per austinite's advice.
What would be the best way to cycle in between blood work so that when I go in for my next blood test, no "peculiar" results appear(I realise that as a hypo-pituatary patient, there's always room for peculiar).
Second question, 250mg testosterone a month, that can't be enough can it?? I mean, I see people saying that 250mg a week on a cycle is barely anything, so I'm a bit concerned.
As always, happy to answer any questions to help me get the best answer!

Your doc has you taking one 250mg injection per month?

Before you consider cycling you need to find a doctor who knows hormones and get on a good protocol. You're doc has no clue what he is doing and does not understand testosterone whatsoever.
You're in the UK. Find a doc who will give you Nebido. It's the longest estered testosterone. An initial large shot, then a booster after about 6 weeks. Then app 1 shot every 10 weeks to be determined by blood work.
Seriously get away from this doc.

That's what I feared.. He doesn't seem to care much.
Thanks for the advice, will do this.
The sad thing is my testosterone naturally is about 3.3nmol or so, I understand the reference ranges are 10.2-27.9 within NHS guidelines. The cream sucked, one injection per month feels like it sucks.
I'm sure as you both know NHS are renowned for their inadequate wait times and I'm concerned delays may play further havoc, is there anything you can suggest in the mean time? I have a source who is very reliable. Would supplementation be a good idea until such time as I can find a decent endo? Trust me, living in SW London, there aren't too many!!!
Cheers,
Alex

Thanks for your advice and I definitely agree with you, changing my endo will put me on a wait list for 6 months with no treatmet, as a 24 year old I'm worried about being on this treatment for so long. do you see why I'm concerned? Should I look to get nebido in the interim? Does it take long to flush from the system (what's the 'active life'?).
