    Applying Androgel while sweaty?

Apologies if this has been asked before. I searched but didn't find anything relevant.

Long story short, provided you don't put on a shirt until the sweating has stopped and the Androgel has dried, does it diminish its effectiveness to apply it to sweaty skin?

I guess the underlying question is, is it better to dose while your skin pores are open from bathing, even if that means applying atop perspiration, or to wait until the sweating has stopped, which probably also indicates the pores have closed.

Short story long, yesterday I got really sweaty from bicycling in 90°F heat and 70% humidity in full sunshine. I was in a time crunch to get to an appointment so I went straight into the shower. I always apply Androgel (to my flanks) right after having bathed, but yesterday when I got out of the shower I still was sweating profusely. I probably should have taken a cool rinse, but I'm one of those people who only has body sweat (as opposed to sweaty pits) under extreme circumstances, and this one snuck up on me, so it didn't occur to me beforehand. Anyway, I didn't have the time to wait for the sweating to stop, so I applied the gel anyway.

I actually got in my car shirtless, switched the A/C on high and stopped to finish dressing once the sweating had subsided and my skin had dried.

Just curious if anyone has any experience/opinion with Test uptake through sweaty skin. Should I have waited until I had opportunity to strip down and apply to dry skin? I'm especially curious because I went cycling again today and I bonked, pretty badly, which was unexpected because it was cooler and overcast, and yesterday's ride was only a moderate effort. So I'm wondering if my Test levels might have been back to "hypogonadic" levels today.
