Well, lemme tell ya, lol! From the time I had my levels checked out due to symptoms to the time I started with LowTestosterone.com was about a year. Levels throughout the year (got checked about 3 times) were always about here...lab corp ranges.
    Total T...250-325
    Free T...9-10
    FSH...3
    LH...2.2

I saw my GP about 3 times on this subject bringing in documentation & good solid reading on Low Testosterone & he kept saying there's nothing wrong with me.
Changes To another doctor (Kaiser health care)...brought in all the same stuff & explained everything very politely & asked what we can do do be rid of my symptoms...he atleast went in the right direction. Did an MRI to rule out Pituitary issues (clear), did a sleep apnea test (clear), checked Thyroid but of coarse only TSH (2.6), he says it's all good & I'm in good health...nothing we could do! Says no way I have Low Test symptoms since I appear to be in good shape!
To add I've been training for the previous year & a half & dropped 40lbs & learned a lot on Nutrition in hopes of feeling better in general. I looked better, but still felt lame.
So enough was enough & I came to realize I would get no help through my health care & talked with a few clinics & ended up signing on with LowTestosterone.com. Went over my blood work with the LowT Dr. & it was said that I was a little of both, Primary & Secondary. Said nothing will fix it but TRT is an option to get me right again. So I took the plunge & it's been 8.5 months on TRT.
Many symptoms have improved or completely went away...took a while to get dialed in after trying diferent doses & such to see where I felt best. So generally I feel good again, but I still have a couple annoying issues...feel pretty tired at times & a bit lethargic no matter if I'm eating at maint. Or a caloric surplus.
I dug deeper into my Thyroid & my FT4 & FT3 are below & at bottom of range...I checked adrenals, cortisol & antibodies...all are good. So looks like I'm gonna do a trial run of NDT to see how I respond to it. I wish I was better educated on this earlier cause I would've tried this before starting TRT, but my wonderfull GP said my Thyroid was fine by only looking at TSH & he should've looked deeper knowing my symptoms & seeing TSH level that is questionably elevated close to 3.

So that's my ride so far ! I def feel better but still trying to improve myself a bit, lol!

Yes, a microadenoma. My pituitary is 6mm, the tumor is 2mm. Protocol currently is 70mg x 2 per week with hcg at 250iu's M-W-F. No AI needed.

    Mr V

    Dear M– Dob 31.12.66

    Diagnosis:
    Anabolic steroid misuse

I saw you in the endocrine clinic today. You have been under the care of my endocrine colleagues off and on since 2009 until March last year. The uncontrolled use of anabolic steroids did result in secondary polycythaemia which was recently rectified with repeated venesections and abstinence from testosterone and anabolic steroid injections. The fact that your haemoglobin did not rise any further, and the fact that your gonadotropin levels have only just risen into double figures, confirm that stopping exogenous testosterone excess is effective in eliminating the side-effect of polycythaemia and there is evidence of a potential for physiological recovery by reactivating your own pituitary gonadal axis.

In order to see the effectiveness of this approach, we need to let at least six months pass and reassess your hormonal profile after that time. The misuse of any anabolic steroids or testosterone in the meantime will jeopardise that natural recovery and will be evident on falling gonadotropin levels.

I will review you again in six months’ time.

    Yours sincerely

    Dr ANDREAS JOSTEL
    Consultant Physician
