Hairloss Treatment
Im experiencing hairloss due to genetics already and Im not even on TRT yet but plan to start really soon. I know it is inevitable but do any of you have suggestions as to ways to at least slow it down? Preferably something that isn't harmful to libido (fin scares me) as thats one of my main concerns going into TRT. Sorry if this has been covered

A razor and shaving cream or trimmers. Only safe approach in my opinion.

Rogaine and Nizoral shampoo. I dont use the Rogaine like like I should but I do use Nizoral and another shampoo that has Ginger essential oils in it from the body shop.
My dad was bald in his 20s. I always had a high hairline and thin in front and use to be teased in high school a lot about how I would be bald soon. Everyone who teased me was bald by our 10 year reunion, mine was the same.
I'm 51 now and it's of course thinner on top but far from being bald.

No not at all. They are not DHT blockers like finesteride or propecia

I don't have hair loss, but a few months back my hair was brittle and dryed out. I started taking L-Cysteine and now my hair is healthy and not dryed out.

Unfortunately i tried to respond to this thread with honest, genuine, solid information for the original poster on the topic of hair loss, and repeatedly got the below message. Nothing in my post was "of that nature". And I could not figure out what word was triggering the error message. It would help if a comprehensive list were provided, or some other means. As it stands, the OP wont get my jewels of knowledge now. :P
Sorry, but your POST was denied for the following reasons:

Are you using 1 or 2% nizoral. I used rogaine in niZoral in the past and really didn't notice much. It seems when I decided I don't care about losing my hair I stopped losing as much. I took fin back in the day that stuff is poison.

rogaine, nizoral 2%, and yes Finasteride has worked for me.. then theirs FIT hair procedure which was a pain but very very effective. Need a great Dr to get a hairline that looks natural. I wouold agree on shaving it first to see whats whats. Before i even started dealing with it i shaved to see what i looked like..wasnt pretty.. i have a cone head
