    latest E2 results....extremely surprised

Some of you may know from my other thread that I decided to get my E2 tested this week due to concerns regarding excess acne. I got the blood draw this morning and just got the results email a few minutes ago. I haven't had it checked before since the end of March, when it was a 41. I'll be up front and say that I had let high E2 paranoia set in and I took an AI for the first time ever this week. I inject 100mg cyp every Monday, and this week I took .25mg liquidex on Tuesday. That is literally the only AI dose I've ever taken. I'm stressing that because my results today said I was LOW, <6 on a scale from 7-49. Is it even possible for one single dose of .25 anastrozol to lower it that much? I'd say I obviously didn't need the AI, but really surprised if one dose could do that. Feedback? Btw, when my E2 was 41 that was at 200mg/week test, and I've since dropped to 100 as stated above.

Not understanding why you would take your first AI dose 2 days before you go to have your E2 tested????

You probably got the regular e2 test vs the sensitive one. I've had huge fluctuations with the standard test. Many feel great with a level in the 30s-40s. IMO, no reason for the ai. When you cut your dose in half, that alone should have brought it down to a nice level. How do you feel?

Why did I take it? Just a moment of stupidity honestly, can't give a better answer than that. We all have our dumb moments. And didn't honestly think it could make that much difference so soon.....learned something there. It was definitely the sensitive test, I was careful to order that. I feel pretty good, was just letting too many horror stories of having high E2 without knowing it get to my head. I guess I'll chill out on that train of though for now..lol

The reason I thought you had the standard test done is because when I do sensitive test, it takes me about 3 days to get my results. Standard takes less than a day. Anyway, it wasn't stupid. When I first came here, I freaked out about a lot of things. I've learned to know my body and to do what's good for ME. So, you feel fine? Maybe test it again in a few weeks and see where no ai and a lower test dose puts you.

Estrogen gets a bad rap around here. (Not from everyone.)
I think it started with people saying E2 needed to be between 20-30 to be optimal.
That is like saying test should be between 900-1000 to be optimal. Not everyone is optimal there.
From what I've read of users accounts here many feel fine with E2 between 20-50.
As I believe Low T stated "I've never seen anyone with a E2 of 40 develop gyno".

    Agree. It's all subjective.

The good thing is, I've at least learned first hand that my body reacts very strongly to AI even at a single low dose. I'm planning a blast cycle once I hit the point that my trt doc isn't checking bloodwork so frequently. Instead of jumping right into .25 adex eod I think I'll start with twice a week 24hr after each pin and check E2 a few weeks into cycle and adjust from there. Firsthand knowledge beats info from 100 online threads any day...lol. Thanks for responses guys.

BW tells all! It's why it's so important for first cycles. It's how you learn how YOU respond. Critical imho.

Don't beat yourself up, many of us have done things we shouldn't have. If you learned something, it wasn't a total waste. Sometimes it takes trial and error. A few guys on this forum have gotten their perspective optimal protocols by experimenting.
