    Looking for TRT Clinic Guidance

Hello, I'm in my mid 20's and have low T, likely due to epistane or superdrol use from ages 17-21.

Last year I tested around 200 TT, started treatment with a crazy woman doctor who wanted me on a low dose Topical T and progesterone. Needless to say I went from bad to worse and discontinued treatment.

After 1 year of diet/lifestyle changes and learning that I have gluten sensitivity my TT has risen to 400 and my FT is at 12 on a scale of 9-30.

I feel marginally better after eliminating gluten but still feel like shit libido wise, confidence wise, etc.

I want to begin TRT, yes I'm fine with no kids, but am unsure where to go now that my levels are above what insurance companies and most GP's deem functional.

I'm hoping to find somewhere relatively cheap and comfortable prescribing 150-200mg/week range.

    Thanks for reading

Edit: forgot to mention, I'm in the Oregon area and have previously tried a clomiphene restart.

Hi Conoco. Personally, I'd take the time to visit one of the top doc's in the country and see if they can help you. Think Crisler, Shippen, Gaines and I'm sure others can add some West Coast doc's to the list. You're young, life is long. Give one a shot. Normally you only need to visit them once then the rest can be virtual.

If you do not choose that route then I'd check out LowTestosterone.com - $199 All-Included Testosterone Treatment. I believe they will fly people in for their first visit in no clinics are in the area.

Love to see some current BW if you have it to post.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Thanks for the welcome.

The only recent BW I have is
    Total T- 420 and Free T: 12 on a scale of 9-30.

Last year I also had LH, FSH, estradiol and a full metabolic panel checked.
All were said to be in range.

The doctor who prescribed me test and progesterone said I had a bad reverse t3 to t3 ratio and tried giving me compounded t3 but I discontinued that treatment at the same time as the rest.

I have had a low body temp for the last 3 years since the last time I used super drool, ~97 degrees, whereas previously I was always at 98.6.

My primary doc says he believes my levels look fine and my natural production will restore eventually even though it's been 3 years since I last used anabolics.

Ha it sucks to be my age and have zero sex drive and confidence. My entire personality has changed in the last 3 years. Extrovert to introvert.

I always seemed to recover after epistane but my last two cycles were superdrol which seems to have just ruined me.

Hopefully one of these doctors will figure out how to get you on track naturally and not with HRT. Having kids in the future has nothing to do with it and although YOU may be fine with that what if you meet the love of your life, woman of your dreams but the one problem is SHE wants kids someday? You end up not being the man of her dreams... Careful what you say about the future.

You really dont want to be on TRT if you can avoid it. Pinning yourself 3x a week for the next 60+ years sound like fun? That's 9360 sticks at the minimum. What happens if you dont have insurance? You may have it now but who is to say you will always have it. Then you are paying for your test, hcg , pins and ??? out of pocket. Oh and then if you dont have a job for a while then what?

Doesnt sound like anything I would want to do if I could avoid it. I know a lot of younger guys think it's an easy way to get gear and not a big deal, until they are doing it for a while and find out what a big deal, PITA it is just trying to feel normal again.
