New to TRT, Sustanon Vs Nebido

    Hello,

Im 22, 170lbs, 182cm, about 9-11% bf, 3x gym 2x crossfit 1x cardio per week and have been diagnosed with very low-T (3.5 nmol/L). Been getting Sustanon 250 for every three weeks & getting my third shot next week - so about 1,5 months into TRT.

My doctor told me that I also have the option to choose nebido containing testosterone undecanoate for my TRT, which i would then get every three months.
The thing is that sustanon is covered by my health insurance 100% but I would have to pay 50% for the nebido (103€ - which would make it about 34€ for a month).
Looking for feedback on which is better, what are your experiences, comments, would nebido be worth it, etc.

Also Im thinking of adding some more test/doing a cycle to TRT. Feedback, help, suggestions welcome here as well.
    Thanks.

Did your dr do all the testing that needed to be for sure that your lowt isn't caused by something else? MRI, thyroid test and so on. Your young to be put on trt. But nebido would be the best IMO. I'm thinking about going on it myself.

^^^^ what he said. Most importantly at your age is WHY do you need TRT. Why is your test low?

Yes, a number of test were done, incl MRI and it didnt seem to show anything that would have these effects. Im also taking levothyroxine (75mcg daily atm) and it was assigned prior to TRT (50mcg daily) but didnt seem to have an effect then. I was told that my ptuitary isnt producing enough hormones that stimulate the production testosterone .

What are the main pros with nebido that it would be worth taking and the price? More stable levels and infrequent injections?
Should there also be hcg or sth like that in my TRT because so far my doctor hasnt mentioned anything about it, although Im only about 2 months in.

My current protocol is 8 to 10 week 1000mg shot of nebido; I have been getting greater stability in levels hut everyone is different; you will spike with the less thick concentrations, well I did anyway; my general well - being has been better

I had my first Nebido injection today. Been on the gels for 5 weeks. To be honest I do not think the gels were for me. Always felt tired, no sex drive and got fed up with putting it on every morning. I have some gels spare though, so will take if needed while the Nebido kicks in. I'm getting 500ml every 6 weeks.

Precious few doctors will bring it up.

You may have to educate him.

So I had another meeting with my doctor and opted for nebido next time, event though its pretty expensive.
Wanted to ask if comparing sustanon & nebido, which is better for your actual muscle growth. Isnt sustanon better because at certain periods your testo levels might be higher than average or do the periods where it might be low, make it even with nebido again?
