Blood work and creatine .

Have my tri annual check up next week . I was thinking of added some Creatine to my post workout shake .!should I wait till after giving blood work ? Will the Creatine skew the tests ?

I would. Being a lifter your Creatinine reading may already be high and adding Creatine will only spike it further. If your Doc is clueless on this he may freak out a bit at the inflated number. Mine usually runs 1.30-1.40+ without supplementing Creatine...

Depending on how much you ingest it can bring up your overall weight up from water retention and a slight increase around the Pleural cavity which increases the pressure on the heart. Related to this, it will raise your blood pressure a bit. I didn't see a real benefit so I stopped, BUT every one is different. I can't think of any test results that will be affected other than BP issues.

yes... but its nothign to worry. if he sys liver issue or high creatinin levels its because your takign extra, there isnt really an issue ( assuming test wa sfine before you started anf your healthy)
