Aveed for low T.
Anyone heard of this treatment? Thoughts? I have a friend that is considering starting this as it has recently been approved by the FDA. Apparently Aveed has been used in Europe for some time now, successfully.

In Europe its called Nebido and its a 1000mg 4ml amp, I think Aveed is a single 3-mL (750 mg).
Ive been on nebido for years and its by far the best TRT ive tried, not sure how the injection protocol of the Aveed 750mgs TU goes but the 1000mgs nebido is great.

Thanks Marcus, interested to see how this goes with my buddy. Guessing you don't suffer from the peaks and valleys? The listed possible side effects are kinda scary. No problems with you?

Just read your links Marcus and gleaned a lot of info. Thank you very much for your time and info. Much appreciated. Only remaining question I would have would be how a one size dosage for all can work? We are all different sizes, etc.... One size fits all anything worries me.

That's exactly what you have to discuss it with your physician. How regulated are they on dosage and frequency to help maintain an adequate level for you, as one size does not fit all. I think the reason our lovely FDA reduced the dosage is their goal is a 500 ng/dl serum level, if I recall correctly.
There's also a current thread here regarding a member just starting with it. Search it up.
