My doc put me on 200ml of test cyp ever two weeks, he called it into two different pharmacy and being my new insurance doesn't cover it I can pick up from both. Would it help a lot to take 400 a week vs 200?

400 mg a week is not trt rather a cycle . If you are just getting started, I would split it up into 50 mg every 3.5 days . Find your sweet spot and get dialed in.

Also you should inquire about hcg to your protocol so the boys don't shrivel up on you down the road. It also helps with libido.

It's crappy as the protocol is based on tests terminal life, not half life. Do what Beethoven said and go 50 every 3-4 days or even 100 per week if that's easier and you'll eliminate the crap feeling. Pull BW in about 6 weeks and adjust. Small, incremental changes are what work here. Large ones cause problems.

No you do not need to take 400mg/wk. you're just getting started with TRT and you need to figure out what dosage works for you. You're only going to complicate the situation.

If you can pick up both scripts, do it because it never hurts to build up a surplus. But don't increase your dose, just split it as others have said. Try 100mg/wk to start.

Roller-coasting hormone levels can do this being on every 2 week dosing. How's your E2 levels? They could be high which will not help with ED. OP should read all the Stickies at top of the page to become educated...

Hcg is not too pricey if you shop around. API just got some with goodrx . The how much is a trial and error depending on blood work and E2 levels. For me about 300 ius , others anywhere between 500 and 1000 ius. Gotta work with a knowledgeable Dr.
