Looking for a doctor in Oregon, or Las Vegas

Im looking for a doc for my friend in his mid 40's in either Portland Oregon, or Las vegas . He was blown off by his family doctor when inquiring about HRT. Please do not refer me to lowtestosterone.com . Looking for a good doctor who will take my friend seriously. Thanks

Hope you find a Dr. for your friend, but honestly I would gladly pay $200/ month if I had a LowT.com clinic that was fairly close to my location since it includes labs, meds, and support. If you are employed where there is a HSA plan available, just shuck the $$ into the HSA and the tax savings would offset the cost somewhat.
Again, hope you find a Dr. that meets your needs.

Maybe hit the A4M directory. It's a start. Good luck.

Yes sir, it's getting time away from work that's my problem. I believe LowT will be opening up an office in the future that is within a 2 hr. drive which I can manage.

HSA plan = health spending account. You can use pretax dollars for qualified healthcare purchases; even OTC cold meds and first aid items. I believe 2015 contribution limits are $3550 for an individual or $6650 for a family unless over 55 years old then add another $1000.

I think the law was changed around 2011,and OTC meds are no longer covered unless prescribed by a doctor.

I think you may be right. Seems like my Dr. did write a script for an OTC allergy med for my wife so it would qualify for HSA. I still try to hit the max HSA contribution. Much rather use the $$ before it was taxed and get the most out of the money.

We always save receipts from script meds, dental bills, etc. just in case we ever get audited. I know some people abuse the system and buy "therapeutic" TVs, but we always have plenty of legit expenses.

I hope so because or at least with my company/insurance any part of your HSA you dont use you loose. Yeah what's up with that? My company use to pay you 150% for unused sick leave at the end of each year but not you loose 50% of anything you have left each year. I tend to get sick a lot just before my year time is up. I had 1.7 hrs left this year. lol

Is it an FSA or HSA, lovbyts? Our HSA you don't lose, but it seems that you have to report the fair market value @ tax time.
We always have plenty of eligible expenses, so I generally have a minimal balance at the end of the year.

LowT has an doctor in Vegas and one in Seattle. I know Seattle isn't Oregon or Vegas (I'm not a full blown idiot, lol) But it's closer to Oregon than Vegas.
