22 yrs Old, 9 months on TRT, Can I Come Off and Recover?

I made a lot of very stupid decisions and used steroids on several cycles from when I was 19 until 21. I always took as much or more time off between cycles and followed some kind of PCT, although it could have been much better. The last cycle I did: 12 wks 600 mg Test, 9 wks 400 mg Deca , and 6 wks 50mg/ed Dbol with .5-1mg Arimidex eod gave me a horrible "recovery". My half-wit PCT was 40/40/20/20/10/10 Nolva.

I felt awful after it, weak, tired, no libido, poor to no erections, and brain fog. Worse than after any other cycle. I freaked out and jumped the gun thinking I was doomed and found a shady clinic that prescribed me TRT. Stupid, I know, believe me...I just felt so awful I couldn't wait any longer. Fast Fwrd 9 months and here I am today thinking perhaps I would have recovered naturally if I just let my body do its thing and waited it out longer.

My question to you all is, based on my blood work do you think it is possible if I stopped my TRT now and began a PCT process could I recover my natural test levels or is it too late?
I've grown up a lot and would have done things so much differently had I known what I do now.

I have no prior AAS use blood work sadly so I don't know my pre-AAS test levels. These are the 4 bw tests I got after my last cycle ended and before I went to TRT. My cycle was from 1/20 - 4/14. My PCT lasted from 4/29 - 6/10.

    Test #1. 5/22/14
    Testosterone , Serum 368 348-1197 ng/dL

    Test #2. 6/16/14
    Testosterone, Serum 589 348-1197 ng/dL
    LH 8.3 1.7-8.6 mIU/mL
    FSH 6.5 1.5-12.4 mIU/mL
    Estradiol 64.3 7.6-42.6 pg/mL

    Test #3. 7/25/14
    Testosterone, Serum 406 348-1197 ng/dL
    LH 5.6 1.7-8.6 mIU/mL
    FSH 4.6 1.5-12.4 mIU/mL
    Estradiol 37.9 7.6-42.6 pg/mL

    Test #4. 8/26/14
    Testosterone, Serum 348 348-1197 ng/dL
    LH 7.8 1.7-8.6 mIU/mL
    FSH 5.3 1.5-12.4 mIU/mL
    Estradiol 25.2 7.6-42.6 pg/mL

Do you think based on my blood work, I have a shot at recovering from TRT with good test levels or would I be better off sticking to TRT? I feel like maybe my T levels would've rebounded if I had waited another month since the e2 was becoming more stable.

Of course you have a shot. You'll never know unless you try. Your LH/FSH numbers are fine and I'd think your T would be higher. This leads me to think something else may have been inhibiting your endogenous test production during that time. That said, cross that bridge after your restart.

Consider a normal pct of clomid and nolva then full BW (in the Finding A Doc sticky) about 8 weeks after to see what's up. If you're not running HCG while currently on trt consider either doing so for a period of time before coming off or following the Scally Power PCT Protocol. Google it.

Again, at your age it's worth a shot!

I agree with Kel and if I were you I would definitely give it a go. I would use some HCG for a week to 10 days and then run nolva at 40/20/20/20/20/20 and clomid at 100/50/50/50/50/25/25. Wait about 6-8 weeks (8 is better IMO) after you stop the serms and get blood work. This will give you an accurate picture of your recovery.

Thank both of you so much! One last question, my TSH levels are fairly high being at a 6.1 and a 4.1 on recent blood work and losing fat has always been an issue for me. It's kind of a stretch but if I had hypothyroidism would that impact my T levels since it all ties in with the pituitary gland?

Not a stretch at all. There is a definite correlation between hypothyroidism and hypogonadism. Its bears your attention to be sure.

I have some hcg and a little nolva but nothing too much. In the event I couldn't secure enough supplies for a decent PCT, would a recovery be near pointless?

Look at the site sponsor for nolva and clomid. Use google and you can secure HCG . Have it all in hand before you start.

Okay. If it is a liquid version used for research, do I give it to my rats orally or with IM injections?

It is taken orally, measured out via oral syringe....

You all have been so helpful, thank you so much. I hope anyone young like me in my shoes reads this, and it helps them out as well. I wouldn't want anyone to make the same mistakes I did.

Google the Power PCT Protocol I mentioned. Get an idea and adjust based on your allotted time.
